We love Mt Storm! It is an awesome place to sled and snowboard! The "temple of love" is the most prominent feature still on the former Clifton estate. I love the Reminisce palette and the elegant winter additions look fantastic with the formality of the gazebo. It actually sits on top of the water source for the former estate.
Welcome to my blog! I am currently focusing on paper crafts but I don't limit my blog. You may see cards, scrapbook layouts, jewelry, photography and mixed media projects. I believe I used DCWV paper here. The second layout is of my studio 2 years ago. Wow how it has changed!
Cheerful Winter Layouts January 2009

Creative Memories Reminisce Layouts
More pictures from Washington, D. C. trip in August of 2009. All of these use the Reminisce Power Palette. The flowers are from Reminisce Spring Addition. We visited during the Lincoln exhibit at the American History Museum. The lines were the longest in this museum and we only caught a couple of floors on one wing.
I fussy cut several photos of objects like the brooch above and Lincoln's hat below.

Creative Memories Border Maker Banner with Cakes & Candles Layout
In the following layouts I am utilizing CM's border maker system. This is my first layout with the banner cartridge! I also used the new Cakes & Candles Additions. I made 2-two page layouts, 4 pages with this $9 addition! I used a partial sheet of Green Apple cardstock to create the banner border. One the right hand side I cut the border into pieces.
Creative Memories Border Maker Tree Layout
I am working on layouts utilizing Creative Memories Border Maker System. This layout uses the Tree cartridge. I used smooch moonlight to put some snow on the tops of the trees. This is kind of old school using the white of the pages to keep with the white of the snow. I thought the old CM laser cut stickers really enhanced the simple page that really focuses on the snow on the tree pictures.

cards from scraps
I had made several of the dragonflies trying out my different embossing powders. I have the matching punch. Stamp from Purple Daisy. The paper I used was from a Creative Memories 8x8 autumn package from a few years ago and Vintage Perfect Fit, a Basic Grey Christmas Stack and the patterned flower paper is from the DCWV Heirloom stack (new). The doilies are from my first experiment with my Cricut Expression 2. I added some shimmer mist to dress the white paper up. Almost everything I used was from my scrap pile except the bling!
latest card
I purchased a new embossing folder and had to give it a try! I used a version of this for my mother's day card. I used the new DCWV Heirloom stack I just purchased at Jo-ann's.
studio final stages...
I have been working on my studio, utilizing the space, organizing and cleaning. I plan on filling the last blank space on the wall with a repurposed medicine cabinet. I am currently painting.
