The Paper Loft Everday Life card

Today I have created a background with ink using the tutorial on the Scrapbook Blessings blog.  I did not follow it precisely.  But I did make a nice blue sky for my balloon from The Paper Loft Everyday Life collection.  I fussy cut the balloon and clouds from the same paper.  I used Colorbox Cape Cod and a dauber to create the background.  I used a Tim Holtz clear stamp sentiment stamped with Quick Quotes Powder Puff Green with Envy to make the green card base.  I am using up some card bases I have from DCWV.

Graduation Blog Hop with The Creating Blog Hops Cafe'

Welcome to our Hop today!  We are celebrating those graduates in our lives this year.  You should have hopped over from Robin!  She is also the hostess and where the hop begins!

My project for today is for a friend's daughter.  I looked up her school and chose to use her school colors.  I made the tassel with my new Craft Dee Bows tool.  They have a video on you tube with instructions for a tassel.  I also used the Close to My Heart Cricut cart Artiste to cut a gift card holding card.  I used Kiwi Lane Designs tiny bracket templates with blue tissue paper and DCWV butter glitter paper.  The front is a new stamp set of snap together letters I purchased on HSN.  The inside is  a Stampin Up sentiment.  The ink is Mix'd Media Schoolhouse.

Altered Letters ~ H is for Hana

Here is Hana's letter with her favorite colors pink and green.  Her walls are pink and green, so I thought it best to paint the actual letter a color that would stand out against her walls.

I left the pick on the glittered leaves in case she wanted it in a vase instead of the wall.  I also added a hanger to the back.

Thanks for checking out my blog today!  Have a blessed day.

Sweet B Ice Cream layout

Today I have a cute, cute layout of my niece.  Thinking about it, I have scrapped a lot of messy (chocolatey) kid pics lately.

Ingredients:
Bella Blvd Hello There paper & fussy cut accessories
KI Memories Bloom embellishments
Momenta ice cream flair stickers
Martha Stewart paper
Creative Memories brown cardstock
Cricut Straight from the nest
CM border maker punch
Adorn it Spice It Up embellishments
AC twine
CM sticker letters

I used an image from Straight from the nest for the "ice cream" but it had a "cup" cone not a pointy one.  So I used a triangle die cut to cut the "cones" out of some MS paper that was thatched like a cone.

Happy Camp~y Birthday Card Set

I have used W R papers from the Happy Camper collection.  If you notice the constellation papers have different "signs" named.  I hope to send this one to a Taurus.

I painted some gold tone stars with Judikins Mica Gloss inks in mixed colors.

Here is Scorpio.  I did so many of these cards I ran out of the dark brown burlap ribbon.  I went to Michael's and Joann's but no one had this dark brown, except Hobby Lobby where I originally purchased it.

I am pretty sure the stamp is Stampin Up.  The brads are My Mind's Eye.

I just love the combination of turquoise and brown...my favorites!

This owl stamp is from a set Oliver & Co.  I just love the wood paper!  Thanks for stopping by.
