Tim Holtz Patriotic Card using Your next Stamp June Sketch

Good day to you!  I was super busy over the weekend.  First I created some Independence Day cards using the Tim Holtz Seasons Kraft Resist paper pack.  For this card I followed the Your Next Stamp June Sketch.

I embossed the red card stock with a star embossing folder.  Then I added some navy washi tape.  I layer the Tim Holtz image on navy card stock and kraft card stock.  I stamped the Fiskars' sentiment with Indigo Mix'd Media ink on kraft card stock.  Finally, I added some bling!  Oop, I see where one fell off before I took the picture!  All edges chalked with Quick Quotes Powder Puff Blue Moon.

Here's the sketch:

Take Ten Kit layout with Fireworks!

Today, I created a faux pocket page layout with my June Take Ten kit:

Close up of the "subway" art card (4x6) that I created on card stock.  I used the white sticker letters from the kit, star stamp from the kit, old Mrs. Grossman's metallic red and blue sticker letters, Creative Memories sticker letters and several alphabet stamp sets.

I cut the die cut with my Cricut.

I love the enameled arrows from the kit.  I also used the tab stamp.

The entire page was centered around the very cool 4x6 card from the kit in the center.  I also cut the title with my Cricut (Creative Memories Traveler Road Trip Font~I think).

Another view of my very cool "subway" art.

June Take Ten Kit Cards

Today I have for you 5 cards I made from the June Take Ten kit.  I don't pocket scrapbook so I tried to find some other uses for the kit.

This one I made with one 3x4 card, some enameled shapes, one of the stamps in the stamp set and some of my own card stock.

Here's another with a 3x4 card on this one I used a stencil I made with my various size hole punches and some scrap card stock along with some inks that matched.  The tab is a stamp that came with the kit.  I cut the banner with a Spellbinders (I think).  The white letters came with the kit.

Here is another 3x4 matted on some of my own card stock. This one I made a "mini" card it was the leftover from the 8.5x11 glossy card stock I used for the large card below.  The orange outline stars were printed.  I added the blue brad stars and the row of stars at the bottom which are wood veneer stars from the kit sprayed with gingersnap Smooch Spritz.

This is one of the larger cards I made with the 4x6 card from the kit.  I added some of the wood veneer stars in their natural state and embossed the "leo" stamp in the corner.  I have lots of leo friends one of whom will probably receive this card.  I mounted it on kraft card stock and outlined the wood stars with a blue wink of stella pen. The photo does not do this card justice.

On this card I used some Kiwi Lane templates and card stock to create the background, one 3x4 card from the kit, a Stampin Up sentiment stamp, a tab stamp from the kit and some enameled hearts from the kit.

Sketch N Scrap June Card Sketch Birthday Cards

Hip Hip Hooray!  I used some more of the same We R Memory Keepers papers to make a set of cards with the Sketch N Scrap card sketch.  I also cut and embossed some card stock with Spellbinders for the oval.  This first card has brads but on the subsequent ones I used enamel dots.

The sentiments are also cut from the papers.  I mounted some sentiments on cardstock to make them pop!

Here's the sketch:

Heartfelt Creations and The Paper Loft June Sketch challenge

Hello!  Today I have played with some of my favorite coordinating stamps and dies that I do NOT use enough!  I continue to purchase Heartfelt Creations stamps and dies because they are so darn beautiful but they find their way into a pile and I don't ever get around to making the gorgeous creations.  Well, I purchased a new set at Mega Meet and took one of their classes as a refresher course AND you get a free stamp set of your choice with every class.  You can't beat it!  So here is finally a Heartfelt Creations creation worthy of their product:

Close ups of the flowers:

First, I stamped the flowers in Mix'd Media Truffle then embossed with Sparkle N Sprinkle Root Beer Fizz.  When they cooled, I inked the flowers with 3 colors different colors of chalks and inks with sponge daubers.

I used the Paper Loft Gear Head collection and this month's sketch on a DCWV square card base.

Here is The Paper Loft's June Sketch contest and the sketch:

Wednesday Winner! and Father's Day Cards

Wednesday Winner!!
I have been working late in my studio every night.  My son is on summer vacation and is visiting his dad and other relatives so I have more time on my hands than usual.  You will soon see what I have been creating!  I have been working on a wide variety of projects that I can't wait to share.  In the meantime, I am still having fun giving stuff away!  Here is the stamp I am giving away:

I also used this stamp for my own Father's Day Cards:

This card is for my dad. I used Graphic 45 A Proper Gentlemen and the fleur de leis is from another Graphic 45 collection.  I have had the Proper Gentlemen collection for over a year, I am pretty sure I used it for last years Father's Day cards, too.  I used some Kiwi Lane Design templates and the giveaway stamp embossed with black and then distressed with Tim Holtz Antique Linen.  The key is a die cut from Tim Holtz movers and shapers with black shimmer paper.  The stamp is on a white linen card stock die cut and embossed with Spellbinders.

This card is for my Father in law.
I fussy cut the watch and fleur de leis banner.

I made this card for an older man in my life that is not my father.  He called today and thanked me for the card.

The stamp is another individual Inkadinkado stamp.  I fussy cut several pieces.

And winner of the stamp is:

She said:
