"Winnie the Pooh, Winnie the Pooh,
A tubby, little cubby, all stuffed with fluff.
He's Winnie the Pooh, Winnie the Pooh.
A willy, nilly silly old bear."

Let's head on it to the Hundred Acre Woods and visit with this Silly Old Bear!

I pulled out some old papers and some very old pictures for this one!  My precious little boy in the layout, well, he is 16 now and about 6 feet tall! Taller than his dad at this point!  Time flies!  But I love to remember days like this...  I was a crafter for many years and this is the whole family loaded up in my old F150 coming home from a craft show.  I am sure that is where he got his balloon pooh!  He loved Pooh!  I made sure to scan these pics in before scrapping as these are so old they were taken before the days of digital!!!

I took the original 12x12 paper full of sayings and cut them down into blocks and kind of made a mosaic with my pictures and the blocks.  I created a few "blocks" of my own with some similar colored card stock.  I also added a few 3-D bees for fun!

I chalked all the edges with Quick Quotes Coal Miner, not so bold as a black.

Ingredients:
Sandylion Pooh Phrase paper
3-D bees
misc card stock
Quick Quotes Coal Miner chalking ink

 Up next is Christi!!!

  4. First, your pictures are precious. Even moreso now that you have a 6 foot teenager. How clever that you cut down the paper to make a "color" blocked layout. Remember when this design was all the rage...I've always the geometric quality of blocking. Maybe you'll bring the trend back again with this cute layout. It was great fun hopping with you.

  10. I love that you had pictures to go with this hop and I am sure it doesn't feel like it was that many years ago. I like the grid feel of the layout.
