Cricut Pumpkin Pie box for Bitten By the Bug 2

Welcome to the Bitten By the Bug 2's Thanksgiving Challenge.  I figure I was on a roll so why not make another 3D project.  This pumpkin pie box was much easier than my carriage however, looks quite intricate.

The detailed cut outs on the crust, sides and top of the pie really add interest to what is a simple pie shaped box.  The whipped cream on the top really makes it delightful.

The whipped cream was also the hardest part to assemble.  There are eight pieces that fit together, each half of the pieces are different and are assembled alternating so the pieces fit perfectly.  I was crossing my fingers the last one matched up and it did!  I used a glue dot to adhere to the top of the box and keep the whipped cream segments evenly distributed.

The rest was just a couple of extra layers on top of a simple pie shaped box that really kicked it up a notch!

Ingredients:
Cricut It's Fall in the Details image
Misc card stock
white glue and a glue dot

I would like to enter this in the following challenges:

You have two weeks to join us at Bitten By the Bug 2's Thanksgiving Challenge.

Thanks for stopping by
