National Espresso Day~Cricut Coffee Challenge for Bitten by the Bug 2

Did you know today is National Espresso Day? And time for a new challenge theme Bitten By the Bug 2's Coffee Creations Challenge.  I made a couple of cards using a couple of different cartridges.  My first card uses old Creative Memories paper embossed with coffee cups.  I cut the image using a brown card stock and the same patterned paper collection.

My straw is stamped and die cut from a Stampin Up set.  I used an old clear stamp set for the sentiment and die cut.

Ingredients:
Cricut Love you a Latte image
Creative Memories Bountiful 8x8 paper
Quickutz Nesting Lace Rectangle
Tim Holtz Embossing folder On the Go
TPC Studio Coffee Cafe (sentiment)
Stampin Up Coffee Cafe stamp and die (straw)
Stampin Up Crumb Cake ink
kraft card stock

My second card stays monochromatic with coffee colors.  I used several different papers including velvet.  I also covered white card stock with washi tape for the patterned pieces.  I cut the adorable die cut sentiment from Stamplorations out of the velvet paper.

I mounted the Cricut cut on a die cut circle as opposed to a coaster.

I must admit I CASEd this awesome card. Mine doesn't have quite the same beauty.  The cup as a separate element is super neat.

Ingredients:
Cricut Latte Art Coaster image
Cutplorations sentiment die
Our Daily Bread Designs pierced circle
kraft card stock
misc papers and velvet paper
washi tape

  1. Both cards are so striking! I used the same cut as yours on the top card, but it looks totally different. I love seeing how to create the different looks.
