Getting Messy with Tim Holtz Alterations embossing folder card

I am slowly but surely moving through the challenge I created for myself to use these 11 embossing folders.  I believe this is #8.  I spent a minute on this one and really grunged it up.  You can barely see the off white shimmer embossing folder underneath.  I added all kinds of die cuts and some fussy cuts, texture, paint, acetate and metal.

I stamped the two pairs of glasses on acetate then fussy cut them.  I thought they went great with the eye chart embossing folder.  I tried to keep the paper behind the acetate clean from distress.

I used some of my new Art-C texture creme in silver to add some texture.  Some of these stamps are really old like the clamp and mirror one...very steampunk. I used SU water color pencils to give the face some color.  I bought this stamp used and it is loose rubber no backing or wood block.  I have no idea the manufacturer.  One reason why I have NOT taken my stamps off the wood block.

I think the pen nib and at least one pair of glasses came from the same lot of used stamps I purchased on ebay.  As if this piece weren't messy enough, I used some of the Art-C chalk board paint to create some splashes and lines.  I also sprayed some black shimmer ink spray to distress it some more.  My son said this one is so busy it gives him a headache...he likes CAS.

I matted the piece on the same beige card stock I used for some of the stamped images to keep some coherence.

Ingredients:
Art-C texture creme silver and Ultra Chalk Matte Paint
Brillance Graphite Black ink
Staz on Jet black (on acetate)
Hickory Smoke Distress pen
Tim Holtz Alterations embossing folder
Tim Holtz Playful Journey stamps
misc stamps from stash
Tim Holtz movers and shapers dies
Quick Quotes Midnight Confessions
Stampin Up Watercolor pencils
Black shimmer mist
Misc card stock

Here's the price package I won from Art-C's Facebook page.  I love the giveaways where your friend gets the same package!  I tagged my friend Theresa and she won this same package and Art-C sent it so very promptly! Thanks!
