Simple stenciled background card for Card A Day Challenge blog

Good morning!  Today I am guest designing for Card a day challenge blog and this month is the July Stencil Extravaganza focusing on stenciling. I created the background with Antique Linen Distress ink and a green textured card stock.  I used a sponge dauber to apply the ink after securing it with washi tape.  I stamped and embossed the sentiment right on top of the background. I added an embossed poppy to the vine.

This is a stamp and die set that came from HSN.  It is part of the Crafter's Companion magazine.  The flower die comes in many pieces to create a beautiful 3-D flower.  I stamped and embossed each layer and then went back with distress ink and sponge daubers.

Ingredients:
Brilliance Graphite Black ink (flower center)
Judikins Black Detail embossing powder
Sheena victorian floral poppies stamps and die
Stampabilities pumpkin ink (flower)
Judikins clear detail embossing powder
Distress ink Antique linen, Orange Marmalade and Worn Lipstick (flower)
Tattered Angels flourish stencil
green card stock
Quick Quotes khaki chalking ink
Colorbox parchment ink (sentiment)
Ranger Pale Gold Pearl embossing powder
