Grandparent's Day with Bitten By the Bug 2

Hello and welcome to Bitten By the Bug 2's Grandparent's Day Challenge.  In looking at photos for this challenge, I found this great old photo of my grandparents at the beach...so 50's.  So images from the Suburbia Cricut cartridge were perfect!  I used the man and woman in swimsuits, the surfboard, the beach title and the retro glasses.

I used this sketch from Sketch N Scrap.

I punched card stock a couple of times and layered to create a shadow for my shape.  The first time I cut the man's suit and towel in the patterned paper but it was too busy.  I switched up and used this dusty blue Distress Core'dinations card stock.

The sunglasses were my favorite part to cut.  I must admit I lost one of the tiny details.  So I cut it several more times, now I have a few pairs for the next project.

Ingredients:
Suburbia Cricut cartidge
The Storytellers Club papers and die cuts
Stampin Up Badge punch
card stock including Bazzill and Core'dinations

Thanks so much for stopping by and play along with us at Bitten By the Bug 2 for this challenge!
