Stampin Up Welcome Baby for Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge

Hi and Welcome Baby! I had a couple of baby cards for showers last month.  I found this week's Atlantic Hearts Sketch challenge to be perfect to create a few cards.  They are very similar but each has it's unique image.

Here's this week's sketch

Here's the same card with the badge and sentiment in different colors. The panels of printed papers are switched up a little bit and my colored image is different.

I did a third card with the chick images from the Stampin Up Heaven Blessed images.  I like the rabbits better.  I gave both of the above cards to coworkers having boys.

Ingredients:
Stampin Up Badges and Banners stamp set from 2016
Stampin Up Best Badge and Duet Banner punches
Stampin Up Heaven Blessed
Stampin Up Not Quite Navy and Rich Razzleberry inks
Distress Hickory Smoke
various alcohol markers
The Paper Studio earth tone 12x12 paper pad

Cricut Total Sports Golf Layout

Hello and welcome to the latest Bitten By the Bug 2 Challenge all about banners!  I used a couple of different kinds of banners on my sporty layout.  First I cut a flag style banner for the title and then I cut several straight banners from the Bits and Pieces cartridge.

I used this sketch from Sketch N Scrap.

I used the Total Sports cartridge for the cart, title and golf club images.  I used the default sizing.  I do not know where I got this double sided green card stock but it is lighter on one side.  I have found it endlessly beneficial when creating subtle shadow images.

I put a bits and pieces banner behind the title banner for a little extra definition.

The golf clubs were super cute and fun to piece together.  I cut the banners at 5"-6" but ended up cutting them shorter since they were tucked behind a photo.  I found this perfect printed paper in a Creative Memories Sports stack.  It added the perfect pop.

Ingredients:
Cricut Total Sports and Bits and Pieces
Creative Memories Sports printed paper
Quick Quotes Powderpuff Chalking ink Midnight Confessions
misc card stock

Quick Quotes Mulberry collection with banners

More layouts from this past weekend.  This one was part of the Creative Memories Virtual Crop.  I was just whipping through the remainder of the pages in my honeymoon album.  It is hard to tell but the background paper is a very subtle yellow print.  In person this layout is really lovely.

Here's their challenge to used this sketch and banners.  For the banners, I used an assortment of dies and punches as well as some card stock pieces from the Quick Quotes Mulberry collection.

Challenge 7

It's really hard to find a picture I like of myself, I think this one is kind of good.  Maybe it was the unlimited booze at the resort...lol

Ingredients:
Quick Quotes Mulberry papers
Quick Quotes Powderpuff Chalking inks:  Desert Sun and Royal Blue
Tutti Designs stitched banner die
Stampin Up triangel punch
Queen & Co pearls

Dance to your own music with Frantic Stamper

Good morning! Alicia blogging today with a feminine card using the Frantic Stamper Pleated Dress die. Since I have four nieces I am sure this die will come in handy. I envision sweet little dresses and formal prom dress for cards and perhaps party invites. For today, I went with a sweet little floral dress but I can see the possibilities are endless!

As always with a new die, I cut it out in plain white paper and played around a bit. I found I liked when I used two cuts of "pleats" for the bottom of the dress. First I used an accordion fold on the "pleats" with the help of a bone folder to really make them crease. To adhere my two pieces of "pleats" I simply used a strip of tape runner along the inside edge of the top piece. When adhering my bottom to the card I used plenty of tape to keep the pleats in place.

There are three choices for "tops". I like this one for this dress, it was a little less formal. Finally, I tied a bow from some ribbon and adhered to the waist with glue dots. I finished off the card with some sequins, another die cut layer and matching papers.

Creative Memories Border Maker Banner with Cakes & Candles Layout

In the following layouts I am utilizing CM's border maker system.  This is my first layout with the banner cartridge!  I also used the new Cakes & Candles Additions.  I made 2-two page layouts, 4 pages with this $9 addition!  I used a partial sheet of Green Apple cardstock to create the banner border.  One the right hand side I cut the border into pieces.
