Our Little Pumpkin

Hello and welcome to my blog today.  I scrapped this page of my niece. She is just so precious!  I dug deep into some old Creative Memories product. I found these great pumpkin brads in my stash. I am pretty sure I acquired those second hand.  I alternated paper buttons from the CM Cheerful Power palette and those pumpkin brads.

Tim Holtz Wine Sketch with Atlantic Hearts Sketch

Hello and welcome to my latest creation for Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge.  I have been doing a lot of cleaning and organizing lately, the image was in my stash.  I already had die cut it in an oval.  I searched my stash of 6x6 papers and found the perfect match in these Basic Grey papers.

Graphic 45 Voyage Beneath the Sea and Atlantic Hearts Sketch

Welcome to my latest inspiration for Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge.  I used my new Graphic 45 Voyage Beneath the Sea collection along with a sweet little mermaid image.

Here is this week's sketch.

I used sheer ribbons for the two strips on the left of the sketch.

I colored this image a while ago and when this paper collection arrived, I knew it would be perfect.

I had some real dried starfish in my stash.

Karen Burniston Tiny Gnome Birthday Card

Welcome to my blog, today's card was a birthday card for a friend's dad.  I had a lot of fun creating several different gnomes.  I still have a couple more in my stash.  The others are made with different papers.  I loved the fun dots on this little guy.  I paired him with a simple background accentuating the funky color palette. 

I used the die as a stencil to ink the details of the gnome hair.

I can't wait to do something a little more involved with these little guys.  This card did serve it's purpose and I hope brought a smile.

Graphic 45 Alice's Tea Party and Atlantic Hearts Sketch

It's time again for another Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge.  As soon as I saw this sketch I knew the exact banner I wanted to use. These die cut banners are from Karen Burniston.  I also knew I wanted to use my brand new Graphic 45 Alice's Tea Party collection.

Here's the sketch.

I created a cluster using the coordinating Graphic 45 Alice's Tea Party Emphemera pack and Recollections stickers.  

I stamped and embossed the sentiment.  I die cut it with the longest of the Kindred Stamps Sentiment Strip dies. I added ivory pearls along the banner.

Creative Memories Delight with Sketches in Thyme

Hello and welcome to my monthly contribution to Sketches in Thyme.  I haven't had a chance to scrap a little girl in a few years.  Luckily, I have a new niece! I dug deep for this old Creative Memories paper.  The Creative Memories Delight Power Palette was the perfect colors for the sweet baby pics.  These photos are from our first meeting.

Here's the sketch.

I die cut a few butterflies to sprinkle around.  In place of the balloon embellishments I used white and pastel acetate flowers.

The acetate flowers are hard to see but I added a dark brad for the center. They are more visible at an angle in the photos.

Ink Road Stamps Jack and Sally with Atlantic Hearts Sketch challenge

Hello and welcome to the latest Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge.  I created this card for my nephew for Valentine's Day.

Here is the sketch:

My stamp is pretty new and this is the first time I have used it.  Pairing it with paper that is over ten years old gave me such an exciting thrill!  I love using up my stash.

I did a little coloring with alcohol markers. Even Jack has a tad of light shading.

 Welcome to February!  It's time again for another sketch from Atlantic Hearts Sketch challenge.  I found this super pretty 6x6 paper stack at one of my local creative reuse stores. The bottom panel has foil accents that may not be discernable in the photo.
