Welcome to my take on the latest Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge. I had the hardest time deciding on a shape for the design along the left side. I tried a few different ones before going with the Stampin Up punch. The paper was easy, I chose a 6x6 Carta Bella paper pad called Have a Merry Christmas.
Here is this week's sketch:
I free handed the white stitching with a gel pen. I used the same paper pad to die cut and create the poinsettia. I added a brad and sequin to the center.
Ingredients:
Carta Bella 6x6 Have a Merry Christmas
Spellbinders Nesting Poinsettia dies
Spellbinders Petite label one dies
Stampin Up All Year Cheer stamp
Stampin Up Tailored Tag punch
brad and sequin
white gel pen

I love the deep reds you used and you claimed that design for your own. Fantastic job with free handing the "stitching" down the center of the triangles. Such a lovely card. So glad you joined us at Die Cut Divas https://die-cut-divas.blogspot.com/2021/12/frantic-stamper-in-december-could.html for our Challenge of Winter/Christmas project with an optional twist to make a shaped Winter/Christmas Card.

DeleteWhat a beautiful and elegant Christmas card, I like the colour combo youve worked with. The poinsettia is such a great centerpiece, and it goes so well with the patterns behind it. I also like how you repeated the floral pattern on the strip in the background. Thanks for joining the Alphabet challenge.
