So, grab yourself a Latte', sit back and hop along with us as we share our projects with you.

I created some recipe cards in Panstoria Artisan software.  I used Tim Holtz distressed digital kit and Segoe Script font.  I created the background with various elements and decreased the opacity.

This recipe is a go~to easy dinner recipe that really satisfies.

This recipe for thin mints came from my mother.   My mother crushes star mints for the top and makes them at Christmas.  I am constantly asked to bring them to parties all year round so I don't add the crushed mints.

Your next stop will be with...

Adventure Box with Quick Quotes Gypsy Road

Hi!  Alicia here today with an altered project for Quick Quotes!  I have been moving my scrap room and came across a cigar box and my creative juices started to flow! It was just before Valentine's Day so I thought of my husband and what a great gift I could make.  I started with the brand new Gypsy Road paper collection.  I measured all the surfaces and cut pieces of paper to fit.  Despite measuring there is always so adjustments to be made especially when you want the lid to close.  I did remove the original hardware, cover the box and replace it for a finished look.

I added plenty of pieces from the Quick Quotes Bundle Travel and cut some travel related die cuts.  I fussy cut a piece of Gypsy Road 100 for the stamps and used a piece from Frames Bag-o-Chips to frame the "address".  I found a cool stamp and used Coal Miner PowderPuff Chalking Ink  to "cancel" the stamps.

I sprayed the exterior with a couple of different spray inks to distress and used plenty of Quick Quotes Powderpuff chalking inks to color, edge and distress.

I added just a drop of enamel accents to make a center for my compass.

I distressed the interior lid with plenty of Rusty Nail PowderPuff Chalking Ink, it was the only part left uncovered because I like the logos.

And finally a side view that shows the "handles" I die cut from Celebrate 400

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great day!

Quick Quotes Joy Ride Suitcase Pop Up card

Good morning Quick Quotes readers!  Alicia here today with a neat card inspired by the New Joy Ride papers at the Quick Quotes store!  So many vacation photos were swimming through my head when I saw this new paper!  However, I just purchased this die and thought this was a great way to sample the Joy Ride collection.  I feel the key to a good die cut card is to layer and layer and then layer again!  I made 4 cuts total.  First I cut the base out of  Joy Ride 100 paper, then I cut another full card out of Joy Ride 400 paper.  I didn't need the entire card cut for the other pieces so I used scraps of kraft and black card stock to cut just the suitcase and the handle and then fussy cut.

Finally, I began to add embellishments.  Die cut flowers out of the reverse side of Joy Ride 100 paper and some scraps of the same paper to cover the chip board buckle from Frames Bag o Chips.  I did a little shaping on the flowers, covered the edges of the Joy Ride 400 paper layer with some rough braided twine and added the paper covered buckle.  I cut down the sentiment and layered it on some Joy Ride 200 paper.  It really reminds me of how I am counting down the days until vacation in April!

Thank you with Stampin Up and We R Storytime

Good morning and Thank you for being a reader of my blog!

I made this card for a card swap with a "thank you" theme.  So I made several, I can see now this card is a little crooked.  I will have to straighten this up!  I used only about 3 sheets of 12x12 paper to create about 10 cards.  I used every little scrap as you can tell by the thin striped section and the small rectangle on which I stamped the flourish.  I also used my favorite old punch (SU curly label) and the new smaller curly label!

Ingredients:
W R Storytime Gretel, Rapunzel, and Frog Prince papers

Scrappy Cats designer flourishes stamp set

To the one I laugh with...wedding layout with Quick Quotes Celebrate

Good morning Quick Quotes readers!  Alicia here today with more wedding photos,  I have created a double page layout and I used the beautiful and limited Celebrate paper this time.  I was first inspired by the vellum wedding quote "A Toast".  I knew I had some lovely pictures of the toast at my wedding to use and I went from there...

The quote had some beautiful butterflies on it but I wanted to make them pop.  I took a water pen and dabbed it in my Bloody Mary PowderPuff and my Rusty Nail PowderPuff inks and colored on the back of the vellum behind the butterflies.  I tried to stay in the lines but because I was coloring from behind any little mistakes are behind the black lines and won't show.  I also used adhesive under the colored areas and tucked the top under the ribbon for a secure but unnoticeable adhesion.

I used my Cricut and cut some butterflies out of the Celebrate paper.  Of course, every piece was inked generously with my Powder Puff chalks.  I also had some of the wide Cranberry Grosgrain ribbon that matched the Celebrate paper perfectly!  It was so wide I thought it looked good as a title ribbon across the top of the layout.  I took the title from the quote and cut it with my Cricut.  I wanted a different font for at least one word.  I found this large foam "laugh" stamp and used Bloody Mary PowderPuff ink to stamp it.  I notched the ends of the ribbon and still had a bit left over.

I created some folded ribbons with the remainder and notched those ends and topped with one of my butterflies.  I added a few gems and all done!  A simple but elegant layout!
