Quick Quotes Private Reserve Page Kit completion Part 2

I thought it would be fitting since I am away at the 2018  Quick Quotes Mini Reserve  in Conyers, GA I would post last year's kits I have completed recently.  While there last year I knew during classes some of these layouts would go in my wedding album.  I mean how lovely is this flourish and flower cluster?  The kit I am using is Together Premier Page Kit.  It contains four layouts with all the die cuts and embellishments you need to create a detailed and beautiful layout.

The only change I made to this layout was to reverse some of the papers.  Isn't is great that you have that option with all these kits.  From the background sheet to all the paper die cuts, every one has an equally beautiful print on the reverse side.

One tip I have when completing Quick Quotes Page Kits is to keep all the pieces when punching out the die cuts.  This set is one example where you are using both parts of the die cuts.

On this layout my photo was horizontal instead of the vertical photo on the original design.  I simple turned the mats 90 degrees from the original  I kept all the elements in the same position.

I inked up the chipboard with Bora Bora and Sandy Shore Powderpuff chalking inks.

On the final page of the four, I reversed some of the paper circles.  Otherwise this layout is spot on the original design.  I loved it so much.

Coffee Lovers Blog Hop with Quick Quotes and Cricut Folk Art Festival

Welcome to the Fall Coffee Lover's blog hop.  Frankly, I don't drink coffee (gasp)!  I know, I know, I have been participating in these hops and making lots of awesome coffee cards for years but caffeine gives me the gitters.  I wake up every morning naturally caffeinated.  So tea is about as much caffeine as I ever have and I really mostly drink herbal teas.  My one vice is McDonald's Sweet Tea when I need to stay awake that is my go-to.

So for this card I brought out my Cricut.  I love the images on the Folk Art Festival and luckily it popped up when I searched coffee and tea images to cut.  I thought the Quick Quotes Serenade papers were a perfect soft but colorful choice.

I used a tea word art stamped in Cool Gray Powderpuff Chalking ink as a panel.  I inked all the edges of every piece with the same color.  For one final touch I added some flower shaped sequins.

I just had to show how beautifully Quick Quotes papers cut in the Cricut.  I use the card stock plus setting for a perfect cut every time.

Quick Quotes ingredients:
Serenade papers 101, 103, and 105
Cool Gray Powderpuff Chalking ink

other products:
Cricut cart Folk Art Festival

Quick Quotes Page Kit Wedding layout

I have just a few more final layouts from my wedding album. This set uses Quick Quotes Page Kits from the 2016 Mini Reserve. I just loved this kit and I am glad I found some photos with which to use it.

I just love the "sunflowers".  They are comprised of paper and chipboard layers with a brad securing them. Aren't the beautiful?

Here's the second page.  The photos toppers are laser die cuts, I just love Quick Quotes die cuts.  This page includes on large "sunflower".  I would like to enter this layout in the Lasting Memories' Threes Challenge.  I used three patterned papers (not counting black and yellow "solids"), three photos, and three die cuts.

Awesome card with Quick Quotes

Hello, Alicia here with an awesome card.  I like to utilize as much of the beautiful print as possible, I think I did that here with the Secret Garden paper.  I actually only used one piece the terra cotta is the reverse of the plant print...designed to work perfectly together.  I die cut my sentiment from the same terra cotta paper for a pop against the plant print.

I stamped my pot on white card stock with  Terra cotta Powderpuff chalking ink.  I stamped my cactus with a pigment ink and colored with alcohol markers.  I then die cut the two pieces with corresponding dies.  I layered that on top of a piece of paper cut with a template and knife.  I added seam binding along the outside edge.

Quick Quotes product:
Powderpuff chalking inks:  Terra cotta and Mango Mai Tai

other products:
sentiment die from Stamplorations
stamp and matching cactus die Close to my Heart Stuck on You
template Kiwi Lane Bracket 4T
white card stock

Graphic 45 French Country Masculine layout

Today I have another layout for which the opposing page was created years ago.  Luckily, I still had a few of the Fleur de Lys stamped images in my stash.  Though they were not colored, it only took a few seconds to determine how I had colored them...nothing compares to the shimmer of Wink of Stella pens.  Of course, I had more of this wonderful Graphic 45 papers.  Many of the Graphic 45 papers I have were purchased in packs of 25 at Tuesday Morning. I have shared and I still have pounds and pounds of gorgeous papers.  I know poor me. I have a thing for Fleur de Lys so I had plenty of stamps and two different glitter washi tapes.

Here is the sketch I used from Pinterest.  This is an oldie but goodie, sometimes I just can't find a current sketch that fits the bill for the pics.  I thought this would be striking with the Graphic 45 papers.  If you like sketches, you should check out my Pinterest page.  I have boards for 1-2 photo sketches3 photo sketches4+ photo sketches and 2 page sketches

Here is a close up of the Cricut cut mat and embellishment cluster.

A close up of my adorable cousin.  My sister was my photographer, doesn't she capture great shots?

Love is the Greatest Refreshment in Life...wedding layout

I am scrapping the last few pics of my wedding.  This is the last page of album #2.  Yes, my wedding "album" is really a set of 3 albums.  I hope to do a vlog about it when it is finally done...deadline Oct 12 (my anniversary).  I was very pleased with how this page turned out.  I actually picked this background paper up at the thrift store.  Here in Cincinnati, we have an ART thrift store, The Indigo Hippo.  Luckily, it is only a mile or so from my house, so I try to visit every few weeks.

Here is the sketch I used from Sketches in Thyme:

Here is a close up of my photo.  I had to put it on pop dots on one side to level it out as the pearls sewn into the ribbon are about 8mm.  I put the Creative Memories champagne glass sticker on card stock so I could pop it up on the same level with the photo.

I tucked the pearl flourish behind the sticker and layered the sentiment sticker directly on the background paper.

Ingredients:
World Win Pearlescent Swirl Gold paper
Creative Memories stickers
Tattered Angels Walnut Gold
Heidi Swapp white embossed paper
Recollections ribbon
pearls and pearl flourish

If there ever comes a day...Eeyore card

I made this Eeyore to experiment with my Frantic Stamper edger die.  I had this great sentiment stamp but no Pooh stamps.  I did, however, have some old Winnie the Pooh stickers.  I really like using the Eeyore image for this card.

I layered all the stickers on white card stock and fussy cut so I could pop them on dots.

Ingredients;
TPC Studio Clear stamp
Adirondack Denim ink
Creative Memories sticker
Frantic Stamper lovely arched loop edger die
echo park walking on sunshine blue/white paper
Coral card stock and printed paper

Creative Memories Diva layout

Hi bloggy friends...I just had to use a couple of pink pages in my wedding album and the "getting ready" pages were the perfect place to use pink!  I cracked open a very old paper pack which I have never used...I was hoarding but if my wedding album wasn't worth it, what is?

I used the Freaky Fast Formula from the The Scraproom Facebook page.

Here is a photo after I cut my sizes.  The smallest 12" strip is vellum.
