Cosmo Cricket for Sketches in Thyme

Welcome to my project for Sketches in Thyme Facebook Group. More scrapping of the Frida interactive exhibit in Chicago. I took these photos of the projected scene on the walls from a second floor overlook. It was a great experience, I'd love to see another artist's interactive exhibit.  I accentuated the artsyness with a Creative Memories sticker letter title, a Prima Ruby Violet flower I retooled a bit and a lovely laser cut tag.

Here is this week's sketch.

I forgot to mention the metallic butterfly sticker.  I have to admit I can't remember the brand. I layered all four photos on black card stock.

I had tons of fun layering the different color vellums.  I believe they were part of a kit I separated to get more use of the parts, could be in error here as well.  I have taken to removing packaging if it doesn't fit in my scraprack pages.

Ingredients:
Cosmo Cricket paper
Creative Memories sticker letters
kraft laser cut tag with fiber
Prima Ruby Violet Bits & Baubles flower altered
butterfly sticker
black card stock and various colors of vellum

Frida Immersive Exhibit layout for Sketches in Thyme

Welcome to the next installation of my Chicago 2022 scrapbook. I scrapped this page per the latest Sketches in Thyme Facebook Group sketch.  We have four sketches per month and this is the fourth.  I am using the same K & Co papers I have had on my desk for a couple of months.  I purchased them second hand so I don't have the name of the stack but they are so pretty! I just love the bright color combination.

Here is the sketch.

I used both pink and orange letters to create the title.

I printed these two photos small to accommodate the sketch. I cut several circles out of different scraps and since I they are doubled sided papers I had lots of choices.

Ingredients:
K & Co papers
Creative Memories sticker letters and circle cutter
foil washi tape
gems and flair

I would like to enter this in the following challenges:

Frida Exhibit layout for Sketches in Thyme

Welcome to my blog today.  I am scrapping for Sketches in Thyme Facebook Group.  I began a new project for 2025, I am scrapping a trip to Chicago from 2022.  I just acquired this K & Co paper stack at Indigo Hippo and they were right by my desk because they had not been filed away.  I immediately recognized how they would compliment my Frida Exhibit photos from this trip.  I also used them on my last Frida layout last month.  On this layout, I found some different embellies, but these pieces were hanging out on my desk.

Here's the sketch.

I also acquired this ephemera pack at  Indigo Hippo as well.  There's always a nice surprise at that store.  I used the moon as the centerpiece of this cluster.  I added die cuts and fiber.

I inked up the chipboard pieces with a variety of Distress inks.

I used Cheery Lynn dies and inked up them up with Distress inks.

Ingredients:
K & Co papers
Cheery Lynn Designs Mehndi Botanical Stem dies
Distress inks:  Wild Honey, Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn, Saltwater Taffy, Worn Lipstick, and Spiced Marmalade
Momento Dew Drop London Fog ink
Hip Kit Club Flourishes by Kim & Kimberly ephemera
Fiber and gems

I would like to enter this over at Lasting Memories Back to Basic Band design challenge open until 2.28.25
