Masculine and Feminine Two-fer with Quick Quotes Savannah collection

Hello, Alicia with you today.  I created a couple of cards with the new Savannah papers and Savannah Quotes and Phrases sheet.  I love the checkboard pattern of Savannah 100 paper and thought it lent itself toward a masculine card.  For the second card I found the feminine patterned on the opposing side and made the Life is Beautiful card.

Both cards start with an A2 (4.25" x5.5") card base of white card stock.  I also used an ATC gun for adhesive except where otherwise noted.

Quick Quotes Movie Night layout

More layouts for my nephew's album.  This time I used Quick Quotes papers and some old Creative Memories watercolor stickers.

Here's the sketch from the The ScrapRoom Facebook Group.  There is also a twist to uses something older than a year.  If those Creative Memories stickers are less than 10 years old I would be surprised.  They are removed from their original pack but my guess is 2007 at the latest.

To give these old stickers a kick, I adhered them to white card stock and fussy cut around them.  I then added pop dots to the back so they make an impact on the page.

Ingredients:
Quick Quotes Spring Showers papers
Creative Memories stickers
AR Julian font cut with Cricut

Naughty or Nice with Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge

Merry Christmas!  Today I have this week's inspiration for Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge.  Were you naughty or nice this year?  I hope that I was nice enough!

I used some scraps from a 6x6 Christmas paper stack.  I stamped and punched the sentiment from a Stampin Up set.  It is a little hard to see in the pic but I put a little red metal stud on each dot in the center of pattern. In real life, there is a real cute shine to the card.  I added all these details to a green card to make the red and white really pop.

Here's this week's sketch.

Ingredients:
Stampin Up Watermelon Wonder ink and Very Mery Tags sentiment/coordinating punch
American Craft 6x6 Christmas  papers
Mark Richards Metal Nailhead stickers

Merry Everything tags: Bitten By the Bug 2 Tag Challege

Hello and Happy Christmas Eve...this week at Bitten By the Bug 2 we are creating tags.  The last minute touch to a thoughtful gift.  I created a couple of real cuties.  Obviously, I am having a great time with the Merry Everything cart.  In my history of carts, this one is fairly new.  I believe I purchased it at Tuesday Morning back in May.

I added paper rope from Recollections.  I didn't realize it was paper until I opened the package.  It is very light weight and stiff.

Ingredients:
Cricut cart Merry Everything
misc papers

Merry Everything Stand up Snowman

Solstice Greetings!  and Happy Birthday to my niece Briana.

I wanted to create something besides a card and the Merry Everything cart has a few choices.  I liked this snowman.  I thought he would work well with my cottage but the scale was a bit off.  He will be cute just to sit on my desk at work.

Ingredients:

Cricut cart Merry Everything
misc card stock including Creative Memories blue ice shimmer, Bazzill, black shimmer and gold foil

Quick Quotes Holiday Cheer

Hello, Alicia with you today with more Holiday Celebrations inspiration.  I created several easy cards with my Cricut.  Quick Quotes papers cut clean and easy in the electronic die cutting machine.

Inking all the edges with Powderpuff Chalking inks really softens the edges and adds the illusion of dimension while they are still very flat cards.

I fell for these unique edged cards that were very easy to assemble.

For the final card(s) I could not pass up the opportunity to create a second card with the negative pieces.  I used the original card as a template to adhere the candy cane pieces perfectly.  I added a couple of die cut sentiments to spice up these simple Cricut cuts.

As you see, I inked the edges of the negatives before gluing them onto the die cut background.  It add dimension, softens edges and makes the pieces of paper pop!

Quick Quotes products:
Powderpuff chalking inks:  Green Leaf and Barn Board

other products:
die cuts: Cricut Anna's Christmas Kitsch cart, Frantic Stamper Cut Corner Stitched Die, and Karen Burniston Word Set 3-Holiday
card stock:  white shimmer

Merriest Wishes with Bo Bunny and Atlantic Hearts Challenge

Today I have inspiration for this week's Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge using a little Bo Bunny paper pad I recently picked up at Tuesday Morning.  I believe it was $3 for 36 sheets.  I needed a fresh 6x6 Christmas pad and I love using pink and turquoise...very retro.

Here's this week's sketch:

I couldn't find an ornament in my stash that worked or the circles, so I made my own.  I used simple circle cuts.  I starting searching my stash for something that looked the the top of an ornament.  I will looking at my dies and found the "buttons" on top of the Tim Holtz Movers and Shapers Camera die would work!  I cut them from a shimmer gold paper.  I used the larger "button" for the larger ornaments and the smaller one on the corresponding ornament.

Ingredients:
Bo Bunny 6x6 Christmas in the Village papers
Momenta Christmas sentiment stamp
Versamark ink
Sparkle N Sprinkle Peacock embossing powder
Stampin Up punch
Creative Memories Circle cutter, punch and card stock
Tim Holtz/Sizzix Camera movers and shapers die
Quick Quotes Cool Grey chalking ink
The Paper Studio gold shimmer paper
glitter enamel dots

Cricut cart:  A Quilted Christmas
Bo Bunny Christmas in the Village 6x6 paper
Graphic 45 Twas the Night before Christmas
