Winning and Hauls!

I should have posted these photos last month.  I am finally getting around to it with all the family in from out of town and those events...life is busy.  This first photo is from the Duveneck 49th memorial annual art show where I won 2nd place in Graphic Arts.  It has been several years since I was in an art show, I was very pleased.  Although, I may be too old and tired for these anymore.  It was so hot and dirty.  I used to do this 20-30 weekends per year!  How did I do it?

Next I have some photos of blog candy I have recently won.  I want to say thank you to each and every blog!

This first stamp set is from the Fairytale challenge blog which I can't seem to link right now.

This next photo was from Little Acres Creations where I won my choice of two sets and the inker during a blog hop.  I can't wait to play with these adorable stamps.

This is another blog hop win from Georgiana at Carson's Cricut Creations.

And another blog hop win! I can't remember where this one came from, I have searched my emails and just can't find it.  If you know, please let me know so I can give proper credit.

Now some of my recent hauls...I purchased a Cricut cart from Close to My Heart when they were on sale recently.

I got suckered into HSN craft day again...

This lady just makes it all looks so easy...lol!

And close ups of these awesome sets!  I really can't wait to play but I have a feeling these will be time consuming projects.

the chair...

the birthday cake...

the house...

and don't you know I signed up for the auto ship!  I will share the next shipment when it arrives and hopefully some projects before...

I hope you enjoyed my catch up on some of the great and awesome items I have recently acquired.

Thank you for checking out today's post.

We R Memory Keepers Fuse tool HSN card kit

I promised my friend Sue at Sue's Crafts that I would post my experience with the We R Memory Keepers Fuse tool card kit from HSN.  She purchased the same kit.  She posted her cards  HERE.  I made about half as per the examples on the instruction sheet then after gaining some experience with the tool I ventured into my own designs.

Here's my entire set.

It took a minute to get used to the tool, but once you figure out the correct amount of pressure, you are pretty good to go.

These are my first shaker cards.  Of course, it is easier with the fuse paper.  I have yet to try it without the special paper.

I added some blue glitter to white and gold sequins in this shaker.

This is one of my favorites.

My lines were a little wonky on some...this arrow didn't turn out as I had hoped.

I added my own pearl bling to several of the cards.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
