Stampin Up Watercolor Wonder DSP and Lemon Pancakes for Sketches in Thyme

Happy Day! I have a yummy looking scrapbook page using this weeks sketch from Sketches in Thyme Facebook Group.  I used the last full sheet of Stampin Up Watercolor Wonder DSP and some scraps.

Here's the sketch.

A close up of my foodie pics and die cuts.

I layered Creative Memories yellow and marshmallow letters to provide more pop and mimic the yellow white of the sliced lemon die cuts.

Ingredients:
Stampin Up DSP Watercolor Wonder
Find It Trading Birds & Berries Die: Berries & Cherries dies
Creative Memories Sticker letters
Creative Memories ink pen
misc card stock including Stampin Up Island Indigo and Gumball Green
pop dots

Cricut You're a Peach card and necklace

Hello and welcome today.  I have used a Cricut cut today.  It's been a while, I used to use it regularly when I had the Bitten by the Bug blog. I think I had to cease that blog in 2021ish. I also used an embossing folder and manual die cutting to create this peachy card!

A close up of my Cricut cut. I distressed the basket weave with ink to highlight the texture.

I sent this to my friend with an Allman Brothers necklace I made using Craft Fantastic products and an image I absconded from the net.

Ingredients:
Cricut Access peach image with sentiment
Our Daily Bread Designs pierced circle die
Lifestyle Crafts Basket weave embossing folder
misc paper including Creative Memories
glass

You're So Sweet Scrapbook.com Special Fold

You're so sweet to stop by and check out my card today!  I hope you have a great day and enjoy today's card. I spent a lot of time die cutting and designing on this one.  I was very pleased with how it turned out. I primarily used Scrapbook.com product papers, stamps and dies. I used a prefolded card base.

I just adore how the watermelons have hearts for seeds. I also stamped the sentiments and die cut them.  I inked all the edges as it my preference.

I used a Spellbinders label die cut to layer behind the large sentiment.  I was then able to adhere just half so the sentiment remains intact when folded and unfolded.

Ingredients:
Spellbinders Petite labels 1
Stampin Up Word Window punch
Kindred Stamps Sentiment Strip die
UPDATE:  I found the precut base package. The base was the Tri Shutter cards from Our Daily Bread. It came with 2 each of 3 colors. I used both whites.  I will be showing off the second card soon. I still have two ivory and two kraft bases.

Sketch N Scrap vacation dinner layout #2

I have scrapped another great meal from my Connecticut vacation.  I ordered too much food at this meal.  Now not all these dishes are mine but two are, a tofu taco and a salad.  I am down to three pages left to finish my album!  Today's primary task (after work) is to pick up the last few fresh ingredients for Thanksgiving.  Fingers crossed, I still think I can finish this album before Thursday.

Scrapbook.com Hello Sunshine for Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge

Today I am playing with my new Scrapbook.com Fruit Slices A2 Decorative die and the latest Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge.  I had fun playing with the fruit dies and background die. I also threw in some inking behind the fruits on the background die.

Here's the sketch.

Close up of my sentiment. I chose to ink the popped up fruit with black to help it pop off the yellow citrus background.

Ingredients:
Tim Holtz Distress Squeezed Lemonade ink
misc card stock and paper

Flanders Fish Market layout for Sketches in Thyme

Welcome to my blog today.  I am scrapping the latest sketch from Sketches in Thyme.  I am working with some photos from a trip in 2020, remember when travel was restricted? This was a trip to Connecticut, I have never spent much time there and we did take time to explore.  When we ran across an area called Flanders, we had to stop!  We are big Simpson's fans. Flanders Fish Market was divine especially when meals out were few and far between.

Here is the sketch from Sketches in Thyme Facebook group.

While this title looks like something I would have done ten years ago, if you look more closely you will see the embossed edges of the title squares.  Ten years ago, possibly even five years ago, I would have just punched these squares.  However, on this layout, I felt the food was so decadent that I should take the extras steps to die cut and emboss these squares.

Cricut Bon Appetit! food themed challenge at Bitten By the Bug 2

It's time again for the Bitten By the Bug 2's Bon Appetit! Food Challenge. I decided to change it up and create a scrapbook page.  I think this photo is adorable.  I have no idea what he is making but I did my best to make a cute foodie layout.

This title was simple but cute with the layering.

I did cut this heart with a manual cutter.

I layered a tad bit of acetate for the "shine" of the eggs.

Ingredients:
Cricut images from When I was a Kid, Kitchen Supplies and From my Kitchen
Creative Memories printed paper and heart shaped cutter
acetate, metallic, kraft and misc paper
