Music Layout: Favorite Topic to Scrap for Lasting Memories Challenge as Guest Designer

Welcome to my last post as guest designer for Lasting Memories challenge.  This week's challenge is to scrap your favorite topic.  I used some old stash a Story Tellers Club kit.  It was in my "music" stash and I thought perfect for these photos.

I am not sure if you are familiar with The Story Teller's Club but it was a monthly scrapbook kit that came with several double sided printed papers, punch out die cut sheets, ribbon and coordinating card stock. Oh! and I think they usually came with sticker letters.  At least I still have some in my stash.

Added beyond the kit was some red resin roses.  They are probably Tim Holtz Idea-ology.  They were just perfect for this layout!

Ingredients:
The Storytellers Club kit May 2011
Mrs. Grossman sticker letters

Halloween layout: My Favorite Holiday for Lasting Memories as Guest Designer

Welcome to my second week as guest designer at Lasting Memories Scrapbook Challenge blog.  This week's challenge #758 is scrapping your favorite holiday.  My favorite holiday is Halloween.  It's always a fun holiday! This particular Halloween we traveled to New Orleans for a concert.

Here is page one.  I began with a kit from way back...for years I belonged to The Storytellers Club.  They really had some great kits.  Long ago I separated the card stock and kits by theme.  I found this one in my Halloween papers.

I found a Pinterest sketch to use for page one.

I love this green shimmer paper.  I still have a few more sheets but I am getting low after years.  I purchased a 25 count pack at Tuesday Morning.  My purchase has outlived the store!  I used Creative Memories sticker letters.  I keep chipping away at my stash.

For the title I used my Cricut and a rock n roll font with skulls and cross bones. I layered scraps of the green shimmer paper behind the cut outs.

I used a sheet of Halloween circle stickers and layered them on a Tim Holtz Sizzix die cut.  I think the bat is from a Recollections collection but I could be mistaken.

The second page continues the title and more of my circle embellishments.

I found another sketch with four or more photos on Pinterest.  You can find this one HERE.  I loved all the action shots of this song and wanted to include a lot of images, therefore, I printed them small.

The Storytellers Club kits always included several pages of die cut embellishments to punch out.  I thought these brackets were adorable!  I had to use them.  The border with glitter words is a different brand but coordinates well.

A close up of one of the clusters using my circle embellishment and echo park brads.

Ingredients:
The Storytellers Club October 2009 kit
ANC Crestwood Grass Green Shimmer and Plum adhesive backed paper
Creative Memories mini sticker letters
Cricut Rock Star font
Tim Holtz Sizzix Stitched Circles
Echo Park Decorative brads Arsenic & Lace
Creative Memories circle cutting system
Halloween border (K & Co?)
dimensional bat stickers and other stickers
black card stock

Storytellers Club Falling into Fall with Sketch N Scrap

I finished my weekend scrapping a couple of more pages. Simple but pulled some really old stash and used it up!  These designer papers and embellishments are from a Storytellers Club kit from 2009.  Does anyone remember the Storytellers Club?  I was a member for a couple of years around 2008-10 I am guessing.  It definitely satisfied my appetite for club kits for years to come.  I still have dozens of kits.  I finally split them up when I was organizing by the Totally Tiffany method.  I have used much more of the kits than if I had left them "kitted".  I had the paper and die cuts in my fall themed papers.

I used a couple of more sketches from Sketch N Scrap Monthly Challenges group,

Layout number two utilizes an extra item not in the kit. This was a pack of white borders.  I used Distress Fozziled Amber ink to color it.

The final sketch.  I am switching to card making for my next projects.

Ingredients:
Storytellers Club Falling into Fall 2009 kit
Tim Holtz Distress ink in Fossilized Amber
misc card stock including Stampin Up Early Espresso
White die cut border

Hello and welcome to the latest Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge.  I created this card for my nephew for Valentine's Day.

Here is the sketch:

My stamp is pretty new and this is the first time I have used it.  Pairing it with paper that is over ten years old gave me such an exciting thrill!  I love using up my stash.

I did a little coloring with alcohol markers. Even Jack has a tad of light shading.

SVGCuts Pumpkin Carriage for Bitten By the Bug 2's Fall Challenge

Happy Autumn!  I just love this season and especially the month of October.  When it came time to create a project for this theme, Feels Like Fall. I was super excited and still on a roll from my recent 3-D projects.  I love creating these objects d' art.  I hope they bring as much joy as I experience making them.  I chose this project from SVGCuts Enchanted Autumn SVG Kit.  You don't have to go this grand, but I hope to inspire you to create an Autumn Project with your Cricut and enter the Bitten By the Bug 2 Feel Like Fall Challenge.

Some of the details,  I used a flower button for the door "handle".  The lantern came together very easily but next time I will use double sided paper.  I tried to chalk the inside but the foil paper had a very glossy back side and didn't take the ink very well.  I added a row of orange gems below the door.

In this photo you can see the metallic gem stickers I added to the platform.  I don't think I did the platform just right but the wheels covered it.  I added orange gems above the door too.

On the ends of the platform, I added flowers.  It's hard to see but I used a dark green metallic paper as my accent paper.  There were some cuts for covering the platform and some of the edges. Notice the pumpkin in the paper print.

The back side.

The metallic dark green papers is more visible in the close up view of the back side.  I also used it on the wheels.

One more angled view.

The opposite end of the platform.

I inserted tea lights inside the carriage. It was really pretty but hard to photograph.

Y'all I just have to say, I was checking out my products I used to compile the list below.  This patterned paper is from 2010!!! 10 year old paper that has now been turned into a most beautiful creation.  I know my craft room is packed full...but proof I use it up it this project!

Ingredients:
SVGCuts Pumpkin Carriage part of the Enchanted Autumn Collection
Storytellers Club Pick of the Patch papers
Cricut glitter paper
velvet paper, colored vellum, foil paper and other misc papers
Flowers, gems, stickers, brads and buttons

FUN vacation memories~Storytellers Club with Sketch N Scrap sketch

Here is my companion page to the last post. This is my final submission in the Sketch N Scraps 8th Birthday Bash Crop.  I believe there were 26 challenges, 22 layouts and 4 cards, wow!  did I do all that?  I am pretty sure all the layouts are of my January vacation.  I still haven't printed all the pictures!  This one is one of my favorites from this year.  Fun doesn't even begin to describe the great time we have on our annual vacation but the die cut title fit perfectly with this sketch.

Here is the past sketch from Sketch N Scrap

My friend on the far right loves the ice cream machine...so I just had to use this die cut on the page!

I layered a strip of the same navy card stock behind the die cut title along with some orange washi tape and blue twine.  I sprinkled stars punched out of the STC patterned paper and miscellaneous card stock with green and blue enamel dots.

Ingredients:
The Storytellers Club kit
Creative Memories star punches

Storytellers Club kit with Sketch N Scrap sketch

It feels so good to use up my stash...I can't tell you how old this Storytellers Club kit is, I belonged to their subscription for a couple of years.  I loved their designer papers, die cuts and how they coordinated card stock.  I long ago split up the kits according to the Totally Tiffany organization method, so the card stock was no longer with the kits nor the embellishments but it wasn't hard to find matches.

Here is the past sketch from Sketch N Scrap.  I turned it to suit my photos.

I added some sticker letter for a title and moved it from the position in the sketch.

Ingredients:
The Storytellers Club kit
Bo Bunny clover dot card stock
Creative Memories Blueberry sticker letters
misc card stock
enamel dots
