Creative Memories Black & White Power Palette Layouts

Logan's concert was at St Monica-St George on McMillan so we walked to the concert.  I love walking in my neighborhood.

These layouts use the Black & White Power Palette that was just discontinued by Creative Memories.  I used this palette a lot since Logan's violin and later orchestra dress code is white shirt and black pants.  Now you can purchase the Divine Power Palette that is black and white and BROWN!  When using the Black & White on a wedding album recently I kept switching to other papers to add some warmth to the layout so I think Divine will accommodate the lack of warmth in this palette.  It should be even better that just Black & White but I have not worked with it yet!

A technique I learned at a Quick Quotes class at Mega Meet in Michigan was to use a mat and brads to "hide" a picture under the picture like in this layout.  There is another picture under the pic on the upper right.  I still used brads in the same place on the left side picture to keep continuity.  I love the Swirly Monogram Alphabet from Creative Memories.

A product I greatly miss from CM is the pocket pages!  I always have memorabilia to add and the pockets were great!  Here, I have made my own "pockets".  A small one to hold the program on the left page and a page size pocket on the right to hold some 8.5x11 pages of Logan's accomplishments.  The Black & White Flowers are my favorite embellishment in this palette.
