Dark was the night, Cold was the ground a layout for Sketches in Thyme

Merry Christmas and welcome to all. I am playing along with Sketches in Thyme's fourth week sketch today. It's a super fun and easy sketch with which to work.  In case you are a regular follower, yes I finished my Connecticut trip album and this is one of the final pages.  These are my own photos of the show.  Contrary to the belief of my friends, I don't always sit on the front row.  LOL.  Actually I had front row but they were out of line of sight and we were moved to these in the back.

Here is the sketch from the Sketches in Thyme Facebook group.  I used a long title and forewent the arrow. The title is actually lyrics from a song that was sung that night.  Here is a video if you are interested.  It is a cover of an old blues tune.

I just adored the embellishment clusters I created for this layout.  I took apart flowers and recreated them.

This paper is just awesome, I highlighted some of the sparkles in the paper with gems and bling.

Ingredients:
DCVW paper stack
doily
flowers, tassel, bling

Thanks for spending a minute with me and happy holidays!  You can play along with this or any Sketches in Thyme December sketch until December 31 on Facebook.

Doodlebug Designs Winter Wonderland Shaker Pop card with Sketch N Scrap sketch

Welcome today.  I did manage to make one more fresh Xmas card.  When I was sending cards I missed sending the correct one to the correct person...then I needed something that "fit" my niece. I had just purchased this paper and Doodle Pop Shaker at my favorite store, Indigo Hippo.  The paper was only a half stack but I quickly identified it since it was with the Doodle Pop Shaker still in package.

As usual, a good sketch is a great jump start for a last minute card.  I used this sketch from Sketch N Scrap.

I just hope all of my cards make it.  I have had so much trouble with USPS this year.

Ingredients:
Doodlebug Shaker Pops-Snowman
Doodlebug Winter Wonderland 6x6 papers
Stampin Up Magenta Madness ink

Noel card for Atlantic Hearts Challnege

Welcome today, the holiday is getting closer and closer.  I did get my cards out a few days ago, that was a relief.  I had a very paired down list this year.  I did not make a whole lot of new cards this year, so what I sent was a mix of this year and leftovers from the last few years.  I sent this card to my mother.  I thought she would enjoy it.

Here is this week's sketch.

I purchased this Noel word second hand and could not find the brand in any of my searches.  If you know it, let me know below. Thanks

Ingredients:
Unknown Noel die set
iridescent paper

Stampin Up Sending You Peppermint Kisses card for Atlantic Hearts Challenge

It's December!  Can you believe it?  This year is almost over. I was super excited to play with some new to me stamps from Stampin Up. I recently purchased a used Frosted Gingerbread stamp and die set.  I was so excited to make some peppermints!

I created several peppermints with white and metallic card stock. Stamped and image in the center and placed them around the sentiment. I then cut the panel with a die.  Finally, I layered this on top of my paper slices.

Ingredients:
Stampin Up Frosted Gingerbread stamps and dies
Divinity Designs Double Stitched Rectangle die
Carta Bella Have a Merry Christmas 6x6 papers
Ranger Rich Red embossing powder
Colorbox Mix'd Media Schoolhouse ink
