Happy July! I have a summery get well card today using Atlantic Hearts Challenge Sketch #636. These photos really don't do the brown hex justice. It is a lovely paper with tons of gold sparkles inside. I tried to highlight the gold by layering gold fibers between the curry dotted ribbon.
Here is the sketch.
You can see some of the sparkle from this angle.
This angle really shines!
Ingredients:
Stampin Up Honey Bee stamp and die set
Darcie's Home and Hearth JCS177 sentiment stamp
Stampin Up Close to Cocoa ink
Recollections gems
Stitched hex dies
ribbons

The gold sparkle in the dark brown is really pretty and your gold thread does accentuate it! Good thinking to add the twine. Thanks for joining us at The Paper Players.
ReplyDeleteI love this, the ribbon for the background strips is fabulous!
ReplyDeleteAlicia, what a great take on the AHS sketch and I love the little cut out with the sentiment. Love the colors, too. So glad you shared this with us at the Paper Players this week
