Quick Quotes Tags with altered dictionary page

Good morning Quick Quotes readers, Alicia with you today to show off some pretty tags made from altered dictionary pages.  There are actually a set of two dictionaries from my childhood.  My husband said recycle them and I said NO! Re purpose them!  So here is just my first project of what is sure to be many altered dictionary page projects.

Quick Quotes chalks used to distress the dictionary page:

This is my favorite tag of the three I made. I inked the tag generously with Sky Blue PowderPuff Chalking Ink  .  Layered a piece of dictionary page and then a generously inked doily in Latte.  I inked the small Petaloo flower in Sunset PowderPuff Chalking Ink.  The larger flower and the entire card are edged with Sky Blue PowderPuff Chalking Ink.  I added some blue seam binding for the ribbon.

Ingredients:

Other ingredients:
Petaloo flowers and leaf
seam binding
doily

For this tag, I used the same dictionary page and diecuts from Gypsy Road paper. I used a stylus on the back of the flowers to distress before chalking them with Quick Quotes Powder Puff inks.  I added some heavy decorative metal brads.

Other ingredients:
metal brads

This tag does not use the dictionary page but an inked doilie.  I used Plum Crazy PowderPuff Chalking Ink generously on the doily and the tag which was first covered with Alton 300 paper. The flowers are made from Alton 100 paper.

Other products:
Spellbinders Spiral blossoms die
Radiant Rain mist Ice
Recollections flourish bling

Here are all three tags and the covered backs.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

I would like to enter these in the following challenges:
