Today is a significant day in Grateful Dead music history, it is the anniversary of Jerry Garcia's death. I was living in Seattle at the time, a friend on the east coast called at about 5 or 6 am and told us the news. The last time I saw Jerry perform was Memorial Day 1995 in Portland. Chuck Berry opened the show. I have some great memories of the concerts I attended.
