It's time for a new technique challenge at Lasting Memories challenge blog where I am guest designing this month. Today's technique is to use pressed flowers or flowers. I actually did find some pressed flowers for this challenge. They are in the orange row. But how did that handful of orange flowers turn into this layout? When I found this rainbow photo from our Red Rocks trip sitting on my desk the inspiration possessed me to do the rainbow spray. I had pinned this technique on Pinterest once upon a time maybe with buttons. I thought this was the perfect opportunity to try it.
I had so much fun sorting flowers and organizing the rainbow. I added gems and brads to the center to many of the flowers to add more layers and dimension. The actual pressed flowers are orange, the flower furthest right, there are three in the row.
This photo is a great one. We were partying in the upper parking lot and I noticed the rainbow. I walked to the edge of the parking lot to get a better photo. So many folks were taking pics I started to volunteer to snap the shots. Finally I got my husbands attention and he walked over to get OUR photo taken. I encouraged everyone in our party to let me take rainbow photos of them as well. Great day!
