Glow in the Dark Resist with Hero Arts Shoot for the Moon

Print

This is my third installment for Camp Create.  I have previously mastered this technique so I decided to kick it up a notch.  I don't want to say I failed but this card did not turn out as I had hoped.

Remarkable Resist....Well, I tried to make it remarkable.  I used Judikins Glow in the Dark embossing powder and the coverage was not great.  I made two cards and neither turned out perfect.  It could have been the versamark but I have plenty of refill ink and try to keep my pads juicy.  (Yep, I have several in varying states of cleanliness...if I am stamping white or clear or as in this case Glow in the dark, I use the most pristine pad).  As you notice my images weren't perfect so the "resist" is not perfect either.

I did enjoy inking another night sky background with my new Chipped Sapphire Distress ink and sponge daubers.  This version had a random swipe of  glow...it must be a shooting star!

I did manage to finally get a pretty cool pic of the glowing card.  I am going to leave this on my son's bed for him to find when he goes to sleep....sweet huh?  At least he enjoys and appreciates my cards.

  2. Wow, so cool! I think it looks fine... sometimes embossing is finicky, no matter how juicy the pad is! I'm from over at Shopping Our Stash, and you can and should enter as much as you want! (I'll pose the question at HQ, but I really don't see the trouble, so long as you play by the rest of the rules... we're easy!)
