I noticed some bloggers participating in a neat scavenger hunt last year and I started following said blogs so I got the word this year as the latest Summertime Photography Scavenger Hunt begins. I am so excited to play.
Here's the list:
Here's my take on #1, spotted these two "hearts" just feet apart on a dog walk the first day! I am going to have to memorize the list because I could only remember a few on my dog walks. The first one may be stretching it, but in my eyes despite the fact it is garbage, I don't think a human designed this "heart", I believe that nature worked on the piece of trash (styrofoam I believe but I didn't pick it up) until it morphed into a heart shape. The color just really caught my eye in the pile of twigs as I walked by it.
Just a few feet beyond I found these heart shaped leaves.
There's a Facebook group to show off your photos and a monthly linky on the blog. I look forward to showing off more of my finds as the summer goes on. I believe it goes until autumnal equinox in September. You can get all the details in the links.
As I look over the list, I am attending a family gathering this weekend, so that one may be the next photograph! Someone remind me to take pictures!
Thanks for stopping by!

WOW!!! Great hearts........I'm wondering where I'm going to find a few of the items on the list here in the desert. Have fun hunting.

That styrofoam heart just pops! It's sort of like the way sea glass is created, only by the forest. Thanks for joining the hunt.
