Tim Hotlz Crazy Bird and Double Trouble challenge

I love finding new challenge blogs.  Last week Double Trouble challenge teamed up with Atlantic Hearts challenge and I was introduced to Double Trouble.  And even though this was not my week at AHSC, I am playing along.

Here's last weeks sketch from Atlantic Hearts Challenge, of course its too late to play over there with this sketch, but you can use the latest sketch to play.  Use either one over at Double Trouble.

Another look at this cutie.  I brushed over the embossing folder ever so lightly with a lilac chalking ink to bring out the embossed image.

Ingredients:
Tim Holtz Mini Crazy Birds and sentiment stamp
Tim Holtz Distress ink Wilted Violet for sentiment and watercolor on bird with a little Chipped Sapphire mixed
Colorbox black pigment ink
Judikins black and clear mixed embossing powder
Sizzix/Stampin Up Cloud embossing folder
Creative Memories card stock
Ruby Violet Trinkets and Baubles 6x6 pattern paper
Quick Quotes chalking inks:  Lemonade, Lilac, and Cactus

I would like to enter this in the following challenges:

Recipe:
Three (3) Colors
Two (2) Word Sentiment (Happy Birthday, Thank You, etc.)
One (1) Stamped or Digital Image (Flowers, Critter, Hearts, etc.)

Thank you for reading today.

  1. What a beautiful color combination and love the Crazy Birds, I'll have to pull them out of my stash and use them too. Thank you so much for visiting with us at Double Trouble and say hi to Twisted Sister and Double Dare next Monday to find out our next Challenge and who we are pairing with. So glad you were curious enough to visit our Challenge. By the way, since you used embossing you can enter your card in Three Amigos, it's all about embossing.
