Quick Quotes Farmhouse: A Little Bit Country, Sketch N Scrap World Card Making Day Facebook Challenge

Sketch N Scrap celebrated World Card Making Day over the weekend on Facebook and here is an example I made for one of the challenges.  I used the Die-versions round sentiment die then used a ODBD double stitched circle die to emboss the stitching on the negative space.  There was also a thin circle of stitching left over. I am so glad it worked.  My die brands are all over the place.  Circles are easier than ovals to match up for sure!

Here's the sketch and the twist:

Using the sketch create a card and make sure you have - at least one circle, at least three of the same embellishment (stars, hearts, flowers, leaves, etc) and one banner.

The challenge ended last night but you can join us for lots of extra challenges this month at Sketch N Scrap.

A close up of the flowers punch with a Stampin Up punch and shaped by hand.  I also generously chalked the edges and for a final touch added pearls.   Second thought some pearl flourishes would add just the right touch.  I may have to add some more to this one!

Ingredients:
Quick Quotes Farmhouse papers
Quick Quotes Navy chalking ink
Die-versions Sweet Spot A little bit country die
Our Daily Bread Designs double stitched circle die
Stampin Up flower punch
pearls

I would like to enter this in the following challenges:

yes, this will easily fit in an envy...the pearls are the only dimension and are not large at all.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
