International Peace Day Blog Hop

Welcome to the

http://www.scrapsbygracie.blogspot.com/

You should have hopped over from Haidee if not you can start with Theresa and the entire line up is at the bottom of the post.

Today's hop is sponsored by

and they are giving away
one class of the winner's choice from their awesome catalog of classes.

All you have to do to win this fabulous prize is comment on each of the blogs.
That's it! It really is easy.
Of course, we would love it if you became a follower too.

Comment buttons can be found at the bottom of the post (on most of the blogs).
Now on with the hop!

I made a couple of cards for you today with some of my awesome stash!

When I saw this die and stamp set from Local King Rubber at Stampaway last year, I fell in LOVE!  The bus has to be my favorite die.  I don't get to use it as much as some labels and shapes but I jump at any opportunity to use this one, it is soooo cute!

You can't tell on the first picture so I took one at an angle...the mirrored "glass" in my windows.  Looking at these pics after the fact, I should have backed the peace signs with the same paper, wouldn't that have been cool?

Ingredients:
Little Yellow Bicycle Escape
Local King Rubber Summer Vacation stamp and die set
Distress Marmalade ink
Recollections Vintage Green ink
Stampin Up Summer Sun
White card stock
brushed silver card stock
Quick Quotes seafoam, blue moon
silver washi tape

My second card, I had a dream about...is that weird to dream about paper crafting?
It is not completely straight I don't own one of those thing-a-ma-jigs. I was just winging it!

Ingredients:
Stampology girl power borders
Colorbox Scarlet, Orange, Canary, Fresh Green, Surf, Purple
CB Mix'd Media Indigo
Judikins clear detail embossing powder
sticker and ribbon from stash
white card stock

Thanks for stopping by today, your next stop is my dear friend Sharon!

Here's the lineup in case you get lost along the way.

  10. It's totally natural to dream about all things crafty. It's a good thing! Your bussy card is totally in the groove, man! I really dig it. Love the look the distress Marmalade gives it, as well. And that 2nd card... the rainbow peace-border effect keeps on in the groove. Great job! Thanks for hopping along!
