May the Fourth be with you Blog Hop

Welcome to the

where we will celebrate all things Star Wars related.

Whether it's a card, scrapbook page, party plan or quilt, it's related to

the Star Wars franchise in some way and we want to share it with you.

So in a galaxy far, far away there's a crafter working tirelessly to
create some movie magic for you...now on with the projects at hyper speed.

These are couple of layouts from our 2011 Free Comic Book Day.  I purchased these Star Wars papers from a closing LSS.  Always so sad, this one actually closed years ago and I finally got around to scrapping these pics and using my long hoarded papers.

I spritzed the botton layer with some Tattered Angels to add some interest and tone down the red paper.  I left the photo mat pristine so it pops.

I added some black punched stars for interest.

Money saving tip:  I cut these embellishments from the reverse side of this paper behind where I put the picture since I only had one sheet and no embellishments.  I decided which blocks I wanted to cut out then placed my pic on top of that blank space.  I did make sure it wasn't too close to the edge and was positioned in a decent place.  I call that stretching the paper!  I added just a bit of black and silver card stock to finish it off.

Ingredients:
Tattered Angels black magic
Creative Imagination Star Wars paper Black Armor and ?
Silver, red and black card stock
Quick Quotes midnight confession chalking ink
star punch
