The Paper Loft June Guest Designer=Easy Breezy Flower Layout

In this layout I used The Paper Loft's Easy Breezy Collection.  I used Tim Holtz's tattered flowers Sizzix die to create the paper flowers.  For the center I used fuzzy brads.  I used the curly label punch from Stampin' Up with buttons inside each label.

Close up of the flowers.

I believe these are the last of the projects that I did for my June Guest Designer stint at The Paper Loft.  Thank you ladies for the great opportunity!

The Paper Loft June Guest Designer-Easy Breezy Cincinnati layout

Another layout using The Paper Loft's Easy Breezy collection.  The letters were cut using the Cricut cartridge Art Deco.  Miscellaneous fiber and metal ribbon accent from Michael's Memory Makers.

On  a whim I embossed the photo with the new Stampin Up honeycomb embossing folder I just purchased.  It matches the hex shape of the public water fountain.  The Biltmore House had the same Cincinnati manufacturer of the water fountain here.  I have been taking pictures of the Murdock fountains for years, this is the one at the park pretty close to my house.  I would guess my family has actually used this one the most.

Super Fun Card Challenge: 10 Minute Craft Dash #20

CD_20

This is my cup of tea!  I may not have achieved too many 10 minute cards, but I had a blast!  http://prettypinkposh.com/category/craft-dash

It has been a couple of weeks since I have really gotten to craft.  My last few projects have been very clean and sparse.  So this morning I spent almost 3 hours on one card!  I will blog about that card another day.  Suffice to say I was in the mood to make some progress in a short amount of time to feel like I accomplished something today, my first full day to craft in weeks!  I did a blog hop this morning that begins here:  http://joyslife.com/firecracker-boxes/.  I followed a link on one of the blogs that brought me to the 10 minute Craft Dash and I thought what a good idea!  You are allowed to gather your supplies first, which I did based on the color palette above.

The one card that made it in under 10 minutes is here:

This one took 6:13.  The key I found was not stamping but using stickers for the sentiments.
Ingredients:
Michael's card base
Basic Grey Plumeria 6x6
TPC Bright pink shimmer
Creative Memories Seasons (gift)
CM Summer Title Stickers
American Craft twine
Colorbox Black chalk
Misc button and floss

These two are based on the Sketch N Scrap card sketch #4.  http://www.sketchnscrap.blogspot.com/2013/06/card-sketch-4.html    Both took about 10 and half minutes just over the limit.  Flossing the buttons consumed some time for sure.  Stamping the sentiment takes a few minutes, too.  Maybe I shouldn't clean the stamps next time...
Ingredients:
Michael's card base
Basic Grey Plumeria 6x6
TPC Bright pink shimmer
Creative Memories Seasons (gift)
Want2scrap bling
Ek Success ribbon
Stampin Up Going Grey ink
Stampin Up Crushed Curry ink
Hampton Art sentiment stamp
Colorbox Black chalk
Misc button, brad and floss

This one is my favorite and took the longest but only 11:09!  Not too shabby
Ingredients:
Michael's card base
Creative Memories Seasons (gift)
CM Summer Title Stickers
Colorbox Black chalk
Misc button, flowers, brads, ribbon and floss
Stamp My Mind's Eye Graceful
Colorbox Chalk rouge on pop dots

Get Well Card: Sketch~n~Scrap Card Sketch Challenge #3

I am really lovin' these great fibers I purchased at Tuesday Morning last year.  They just add such a unique touch.  I used some brand new papers I also purchased at Tuesday Morning but just last week.  They are from the chatterbox line Scrapbook walls.  The floral is Creeping Petunas with the reverse being the blue where I stamped the sentiment from Stampin Up's Sassy Salutations.

Rainbow Button Card for Sketch~N~Scrap Birthday Bash Button Challenge

I created this card for a Sketch~n~Scrap birthday challenge.  The challenge was simply to use some of your button stash!  I have been wanting to create a happy rainbow so here is my chance!  I used various fibers and buttons on white card base from Michael's.  The fibers are strapped around a piece of white cardstock one eighth inch shorter on each side than the card.  I stamped the sentiment from Stampin' Up Sassy Salutations.

Sketch N Scrap Challenge #34

This layout was created using the Sketch N Scrap Challenge #34 and The Paper Loft In The Zone collection.  I used Creative Memories cutting tools as always.  The tag maker was used for the journal tag.  The embossed star punched was used for the stars.

Here are some sweet little red, white and blue cards I made for the blog hop.  I wanted to use up some premade card blanks with this great edge purchased from Michael's.  I used some felt flowers and a GDC brad.  The stamp is an old, old Close to My Heart wooden stamp.  Tim Holtz ribbon and a Creative Memories border maker with white cardstock and the Paper Loft picnic paper.

Just one card!

the Paper Loft Easy Breezy Card using international postage stamps

On this card I used The Paper Loft Easy Breezy collection.  I just love the soft colors.  Since I have organized my stash according to The Scraprack's organizational challenge, all my embellishments are organized by color.  It was so easy to find yellow items to match the paper.  I purchased these international stamps off of ebay.  I have hundreds, I haven't used many but this was the perfect situation.  I also purchased the magic mesh off of ebay.  I used a Stampin' Up punch and stamp.  The image is embossed with Ranger mustard embossing powder.  Flowers, bling and satin ribbon from Michael's.  Inked edges, of course.

Another view.

close up view.  I used this for a get well card for my grandmother who fell recently and fractured her arm.

Sketch n Scrap Birthday Bash Kit Challenge the Sequel

By the hair of my chiny chin chin...I have had this layout in the works for a few days.  Creating cricut embellishments can take a while when experimenting with different papers and sizes.  I used Creative Memories Traveler & Cheerful Seasons Cricut cartridges.  The diecut paper is also Creative Memories and I used the CM border maker with white cardstock to create the "lace" on the picnic table cloth.  Oh!  The paper is called Picnic from The Paper Loft.

Close up of this awesome sun!

I love the watermelons!

My Creative Endeavors challenge is to use a Kit created from your stash to create a layout.  Below is the Red, White & Blue kit that I created.  Stay tuned I will be giving this kit away in a Red, White and Blue Blog Hop next weekend!  Everything is included in the kit to create the layout above plus tons of other coordinating items.  Flowers, bling and two alpha's, sticker kits and handmade cricut diecuts with the CM borders!  The kit is also required to contain 8 papers and 5 cardstocks and other embellishments.

The Heart of Rock & Roll Creative Memories Summer Seasons layout

I used the great paper from the Creative Memories guest extra gift which matches the new Seasons sticker sets.  I used Summer.  I also used the new punch for the new Creative Memories maker system.  To "hold" the tag on I used Divine epoxy stickers.  I used the old heart punch.  I used the white swirly  CM sticker letters.

I free handed the bracket edge.
