Kindred Stamps You're Just a Ray of F'in Sunshine Cards (Warning Profanity)

Hello Sunshine!  I just love these cards but I am fond of the f word. I sat down and created a series of these experimenting with various stencils as backgrounds.  I used various colors of Distress inks.

.
Ingredients:
Kindred Stamps Cursive Curses
Colorbox Mix'd Media Black ink
Judikins "northwoods" mix*
Distress inks:  Squeezed Lemonade, Fossilized Amber and Mustard seed
Tim Holtz Rays stencil
white card stock
yellow A2 card base

Ingredients:
Kindred Stamps Cursive Curses
Colorbox Mix'd Media Black ink
Judikins "northwoods" mix*
Distress inks:  Squeezed Lemonade, Fossilized Amber and Mustard seed
Sun die from Darice Summer Vacation set
stencil and yellow paper from my stash
white A2 card base

This is my least favorite, I was trying to balance the rays and I feel I did succeed with that element. However, they don't radiate correctly for my eye.
We are often our own harshest critic. Tell me what you think below.

Creative Memories Nancy O'Dell Hummingbird Beautiful Baby Page with Sketches in Thyme

Welcome to my latest Sketches in Thyme inspiration.  For today's page I used some vintage Creative Memories papers and embellishments.  Do you know how you hoard the prettiest papers for just the perfect pictures...well, today's photos deserve ALL those papers.  These photos are absolutely gorgeous.  Obviously, they are professional but I was happy to scrapbook such precious moments.

Here is the sketch.

I added plenty of flowers and bling to the page.

The paper butterflies were part of the coordinating embellishment pack.

Die cuts, paper flowers and buttons.

More pearls and bling, paper flowers, a button and a resin bird.

Ingredients:

Stampin Up Welcome Baby for Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge

Hi and Welcome Baby! I had a couple of baby cards for showers last month.  I found this week's Atlantic Hearts Sketch challenge to be perfect to create a few cards.  They are very similar but each has it's unique image.

Here's this week's sketch

Here's the same card with the badge and sentiment in different colors. The panels of printed papers are switched up a little bit and my colored image is different.

I did a third card with the chick images from the Stampin Up Heaven Blessed images.  I like the rabbits better.  I gave both of the above cards to coworkers having boys.

Ingredients:
Stampin Up Badges and Banners stamp set from 2016
Stampin Up Best Badge and Duet Banner punches
Stampin Up Heaven Blessed
Stampin Up Not Quite Navy and Rich Razzleberry inks
Distress Hickory Smoke
various alcohol markers
The Paper Studio earth tone 12x12 paper pad

Sizzix Fold-a-long Elephant with Prima Pretty Mosaic Papers card

Welcome, I have created a very sweet shaped card today using my Sizzix Fold-a-long Elephant die.  It had been sitting in my stash for a while and I had reason to create a baby card.  I thought this die set would make a sweet card.  This is actually the second card.  This one is for my stash. The original card was in blues for a baby boy.  It was given immediately but I did snap a photo or two.  I will share it at some point.

I scored the paper stack second hand on Facebook Marketplace. I was shopping someone's stash and just fell in love with the lavender prints.  The velvet pink ears are also a second hand purchase.

The dark card stock is much lighter in person.  Here it appears black but it is really grey.  In fact, the eyelashes and tail are the same paper just the lighter side.

Prima Paper Pretty Mosaic Laughter card for Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge

Hello, it's time again for my Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge inspiration. This week I am playing with some new (to me) papers.  I fell in love with this paper stack I acquired second hand. I created an entire series of cards with it.  I hope to post soon.

Here's the sketch:

I fussy cut a butterfly from a scrap of paper and inked the edges. I manipulated the wings and adhered to the card only in the center for a more 3D effect.

I stamped the sentiment in Perfect Plum and inked the edges.  I layered all the paper pieces on a soft plum card stock.

Ingredients:
Prima Pretty Mosaic Paper
Stampin Up Word Play sentiment
Stampin Up Perfect Plum ink
misc card stock
Colorbox Cat's Eye ink
pearls and brads
