Those shoes...wedding layout with Let's Get Sketchy

I am continuing to work on my wedding album.  I was delighted with my creativity on the day I created this one.  I also created the its a guy thing layout on that same day.  I love both of these layouts.  It helps to be inspired by great sketches.  Yes, I got the title from the Eagles song.

Here's the sketch I used.

I am in love with the details.  Especially, the silver foil paper in the back with the tiny white flowers.  I have literally had that scrap of paper for 25 years.  I used a bit of it for paper beads in the 90's.  I just thought it was the prettiest and someday I would find another use for it. Finally, it will be remembered forever here in my wedding album.  The perfect spot!

All this silver and grey match my silver shoes which of course by this time were killing my feet as well as sinking into the moist ground.  My dress was long enough to cover my feet in the photos so it is not noticeable.

Lots of bling just like my shoes.  They have a brooch looking embellishment on them.

Ingredients:
Creative Memories Divine paper and circle cutter
Little Yellow Bicycle die cut paper
Stampin Up fancy corner punch
K & Co glitter letters
Mrs. Grossman sticker letters (yes, I believe these are older than my child)
Magic Mesh
various silver metallic papers including DCWV
Smooch Silver spray ink
Prima flowers
various embellishments including DCWV wedding ribbon
bling

The Toast! Creative Memories Divine Collection with Sketch N Scrap sketch

I took the opportunity of an extra day off in the middle of the week to catch up on some scrapbooking.  I am determined to finish my wedding album before my fifth anniversary later this year.

I used the July 1st sketch over at Sketch N Scrap.  As you can see I flipped the sketch.  I replaced the stars with champagne glasses.

A close up of the tag and border.  I punched the tag and added some bling to the front. I used a mystical looking fiber on the tag.    I fussy cut the printed design from the paper and tucked some gold shimmer paper underneath.  I added a pearl border on top of the printed design.

I created a couple of die cuts with my Cricut.  The title and the champagne glasses are both from the Creative Memories Divine Wedding cartridge.

Ingredients:
Creative Memories Divine Power Palette
Cricut cart: Divine Wedding Aphrodite font
Creative Memories tag punch and fancy corner rounder
vellum, acetate and gold shimmer papers
black card stock
bling, beads, pearls and fiber

Thank you for popping by today.

Laughter and Smiles: Creative Memories Divine Wedding layout

Hello and welcome to my next layout.  I was on a roll this weekend after the Creative Memories Virtual Blog Hop.  I found a sketch to highlight my next photos in my wedding album.  I have also been using Dear Zae monthly challenge round up as a resource for scrapbook challenges.

Although the challenge has expired I loved the sketch I used:

Amanda's Scrapbook Pages

I also used the following mood board from Off the Rails Scrapbooking blog.  I didn't use the pink but definitely the sparkle, wedding, quote and attitude.

Ingredients:
Creative Memories Divine Power palette paper and paper ribbon
bling, sequins, iron on patch
Tattered Angels Black Magic spray ink

Lasting Memories November Guest Designer

Good morning, I am so excited to be a guest designer this month at Lasting Memories Layout Challenge blog.  This month's theme is all about recipes.  I loved the challenge of mixing it all together.  I am still working on my wedding album so these will all be of my wedding.  Let's get started with my first layout!

Recipe:
3 patterned papers
background stamping
punched shape
puffy stickers
your own handwriting

I found the puffy sticker the hardest element.  I did find these old Creative Memories stickers that are raised.  My punched shape is the fleur de lis.

I don't often stamp on my layouts but this was fun.  I randomly stamped this image with Distress Oxide Black Soot on the left hand side of the paper.

Ingredients:
Distress Oxide Black Soot ink
Creative Memories Divine power palette including papers, paper ribbon, and stickers
Kiwi Lane Large Bracket template
die cut flower girl
card stock
stickers
Spellbinders label die

The Proposal layout...Challenge Yourself Pagemap

I had quite a productive weekend. I played along with a virtual crop and managed to fit in a couple of challenges as well.  All in all I completed about a dozen pages and a dozen cards. One of the challenges I used was Challenge yourself's sketch.  I hardly participate over there since I rarely scrap myself...but I am currently working on my wedding album and for once I did NOT take all the pictures!  These pics are actually the proposal and my sister was my photographer for both events.

http://scrap-challenge-yourself.blogspot.ca/2017/09/cy-45-use-pagemaps-sketch.html

Some of my details include this layered embellishment I created.  I recently purchased a pack of color themed die cuts at Tuesday Morning, the pack I picked was gold.  I layered two of the pieces here.

Here I layered a fancy Spellbinders die cut with a chipboard die cut and some matching Creative Memories stickers.  Love was white and it was a little stark so I colored it with a silver shimmer pen.

I actually created this page first from a sketch during my virtual crop.  Then I searched the web for a sketch that would work with my photos for the companion page.

Here's the sketch I used for this one. I was playing along with the Creative Memories Virtual Crop.

12 x 12 Sketches - Page 006

Ingredients:
Creative Memories Divine collection (papers, flowers, enamel dots, stickers)
Creative Memories stickers
Quick Quotes vellum and chipboard titles
Spellbinders dies:  Decorative Labels twenty-seven, labels twenty and ribbon banner large
border punch
die cuts

Creative Memories Divine Layout

I used the Creative Memories Divine Power Palette.  I used a sizzix border diecut to create the music border.  The notes were cuttlebug diecuts.  I layered grey embossed CM cardstock and black CM cardstock.  The title is CM sophisticate letters in black.  I used some Divine epoxy stickers

I used the CM custom cutting system to create the black shape behind the photos.

Close up of the border.

I used CM Divine paper ribbon and more sophisticate letters.

Creative Memories Divine Power Palette Hybrid Project

This gift made the recipient cry!  This is mother and daughter.  I scanned the old photos then created a digital layout using the Creative Memories Divine Power Palette.  I also threw in some pins from the Tim Holtz Distressables Embellishments.  I purchased the three disc set at Stamping Buddies on Galbraith Rd for only $30.  What a great deal!  I wasn't as sold on the Alphabet sets but I am glad I have all three.

Here is a close up of the Prima lace and bling border, that even has little ceramic flowers.  I lined up the one flower with the center of the Divine paper flower.  I layered two flowers digitally.

Some of the quotes are from Grande Dame digital kit from Scrapgirls.  I added some real paper flowers and a bling brad.  I added some extra bling and pearls around the pin and centered a real fleur de leis cabachon on top of a digital button.

I added this real metal flower by Pebbles and some more bling and pearls over a cluster of buttons and watches from the Tim Holtz Distressables collection and Divine digital embellishments.

The velvet and lace ribbon was sold with the top border of lace, bling and pearls.

The pin printed so realistically.

Pearl bling along side a digital pearl brad.

This is the original digital layout before the hybrid enhancement.
