I love my Sister...using scraps

Hello, I have more pages of my niece and nephew today.  The heart was created with strips of paper layered on card stock then cut into a heart shape.  I layered it on a printed but solid sheet of card stock. I won't take credit for the photos, they are professional.

I found some sweet sentiment stickers in my stash that were just perfect!

Ingredients:
We R Chalkboard Ombre card stock
American Crafts Better Together card stock

Stick It Down Guest Designer layout

Today I am the guest designer for Stick it Down's February Single Page sketch.  I was really excited to be chosen, however, I had a two week vacation planned in the interim.  They were really gracious and gave me plenty of time to create after I returned.  It didn't take long to decide to scrap photos from last year's vacation that I still haven't finished.  This night was one of the best times ever.  We duped our friend Lance into wearing these crocheted pants for charity.

Here is the sketch:

This was sketch was a great way to get several of his "posing" photos.

I had a lot of fun creating the clusters. I was really trying to find items that were not too feminine.  I knew I had a crotched flower, I dug and dug until I found one that coordinated. Along the way, I found the blue beverage tickets which were perfect!

I wound some green beaded ribbon into a swirl and put iridescent bling in the middle. I tied the clusters together with some crinkle ribbon.  I also used some really old iridescent die cut letters.  Made for this fun layout.

Ingredients:
Creative Memories embossed card stock and journal card from Enchanted Power Palette
Creative Memories Custom Cutting System large circle
Bazzill card stock and other papers
Beaded ribbon, bling and misc flowers
tickets, bingo markers and die cut iridescent letters

Stampin Up Daisy Delight with Atlantic Hearts Sketch challenge

Welcome to my latest Atlantic Hearts Sketch challenge post. Today I am all in with the Stampin Up Daisy collection from a few years ago. I rarely purchase stamps brand new.  I am a big fan of purchasing second hand.  I got the stamps a couple of years ago.  However, I could not find the punches second hand and did purchase those direct from my Stampin Up demonstrator.  When I went to use this set, I realized I have never used it!  I unwrapped the punches to create this card.

Here is the sketch.

Since I was using all Stampin Up product, I checked out my Stampin Up paper stash and found some 6x6 cuts of the coordinating papers.  I believe the woman I purchased one of the stamp sets from sent me her scraps.

It doesn't bother me I am not using the latest and greatest.  It is a very pretty set, I am happy to own. But now you know why you often see very old product on my blog.  It actual makes me super happy to use product I have never used before.  I will definitely be using this set more.

Ingredients:
Stampin Up Daisy Delight stamp set
Stampin Up Dragonfly Dreams stamp set (sentiment)
Stampin Up Daisy Punch and Delightful Daisy DSP
Stampin Up Daffodil Delight and Old Olive
Kindred Stamps Sentiment Strip dies

Stampin Up Bloomin Love and Atlantic Hearts Sketch challenge

Welcome to February!  I have a sweet love card using the latest Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge.  I found a couple of shades of red pink card stock and used coordinating inks to create the card.  I stamped several images from Stampin Up's Bloomin Love.  I die cut some in circles and others using the coordinating flower dies.

Here's this week's sketch.

I adhered the flowers with glue dots and finished them off with Liquid Pearls.

I popped the sentiment up on some pop dots.

Ingredients:
Stampin Up Bloomin Love stamp set and Bloomin Hearts dies (new to me)
Stampin Up inks:  Regal Rose, Raspberry Ripple and Primrose Petals
Divinity Designs Double Stitched Circle dies
Creative Memories and other card stock
Liquid Pearls White Opal
