I put a Spell on You card for Atlantic Hearts Sketch challenge

Welcome to my take on the latest Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge.  I had a lot of fun with this one.  I used a thick glitter paper to die cut the sentiment.  It really pops.  It is hard to see but the background black paper is printed with a Halloween black on black design.  I layered that on a glitter mat and finally the black gloss card base.

Here is the sketch.  Obviously, I turned it and did not do a slimline version.

The Ink Road Stamps Full Moon sentiment stamp I used already has the "I put a spell on you" part that I die cut.  So I used masking paper to mask off that part of the sentiment and just use the "and now you're mine" part.  Here is the stamp and masking paper in my MISTI.  I stamped with black pigment ink and embossed in silver.

Here is a side view where you can see a bit of the dimension.

Ingredients:
glitter paper
Colorbox black ink
Silver embossing powder
black glossy card base

Cricut Love with Bitten by the Bug 2

Hey there bloggy friends.  It's time for another Bitten by the Bug 2 challenge.  This time our theme is Valentine's or Hearts.  I created a couple of simple cut cards.

My first card really pops because of the intricate cut layered on top of a super pretty glitter paper.

I added a bit of black ink to distress the edges.

And my experimental card...It looked a little plain so I added liquid pearl accents.  My husband really liked it. I wish the pearl lines was smoother.  They did add and elegance and detail that was not previously there.

Ingredients:
Cricut Simple Holiday cards

Karen Burniston Unicorn-Be Yourself

Good day.  Today, I created an iridescent unicorn card.   I thought I may send this to my nephew so I wanted to keep it unisex. I thought the snippets of iridescent poster board I had in my stash would make a perfect unicorn.  Of course, I had to throw in some glitter (the mane). I added a metallic blue horn and muzzle.  I stamped and embossed the sentiments in a metallic blue. I layered all that on a stitched rectangle die from cloud paper.

Here is a close up.  I tried to keep the rest of the card simple to not distract from the very unique unicorn.  I added a recent find of iridescent gem accent picks behind the die cut which is popped up on foam for more effect.
