Karen Burniston Feathered Friends for Atlantic Hearts Challenge

Happy Fall Y'all!  I love this sentiment and those of you that follow me know I love to paper piece.  Creating this lil' turkey was so much fun!  I used lots of specialty papers and plenty of inking to shade my little guy.  I made this using the latest sketch from Atlantic Hearts Challenge Sketch #656.

Here is the sketch, it's so universal.

I absolutely love the plaid background paper I used.  I found coordinating papers especially the golden brown mat layer that brings out the same color in the plaid.

Dance your way through bad days...Wednesday card

Tis the season and another witchy card.  Actually, I did go down a rabbit hole about Wednesday and the conclusion is she is a witch with psychic abilities inherited through her maternal family.  I spent a lot of time piecing this little lady together.  

I tried several different adhesives to keep the layer of lace on the dress.  I ended up with glue dots in strategic places on the dress.

I fussy cut slivers of the same black paper as the hair to create the strands that hang down by her face.

Echo Park and Stampin Up for Atlantic Hearts Sketch challenge
