I love my Sister...using scraps

Hello, I have more pages of my niece and nephew today.  The heart was created with strips of paper layered on card stock then cut into a heart shape.  I layered it on a printed but solid sheet of card stock. I won't take credit for the photos, they are professional.

I found some sweet sentiment stickers in my stash that were just perfect!

Ingredients:
We R Chalkboard Ombre card stock
American Crafts Better Together card stock
All My Memories Herb Notes Sister stickers
scrap card stock and papers

Thank you for you reading today and don't forget to spread love today and every day.

Queen & Co Puppy Cards

I know everyone says this but I have the BEST dog!  Webster is really, I mean really the best dog I have ever had!  He will sit just the dog above and wait for you to be finished and see if he gets any scraps.  He doesn't care for my scraps too much since I am vegetarian, I don't have any bacon like the rest of my family...

I love these cute paper pieces from Queen & Co Pet Collection.  I bought several pieces at the Great Lakes Mega Meet in May.

I also purchased this doggie embossing folder at Mega Meet.  Do you think I was missing Webster?  I still have not found a good grass die cut, so I used some negative pieces to create the grass landscape.

ATC Series One of 2014

I have a little basket of random diecuts and stamped images that I made but didn't use for some reason.  I started digging through this basket and made these guys!

This is the first ATC I made this year.  I used Stampin Up stamps and ink, Groovy Guava.  I was just playing around with this new stamp set when it arrived and created all these images.  I thought it was a fun way to use them.  I popped some up on pop dots and the "sunshine" is an embossed image from a card I did in a card swap.

Leftovers again, an ATC I cut for a breast cancer swap but didn't use.  Still a cutie with felt, washi tape and bling.

I cut this piece from a sample of braying ink.  It is beautiful ink on glossy cardstock and I had just purchased these peacock feather clear stickers and epoxy flower brads.

To this leftover Xmas sentiment I added earthy owl washi tape and mushrooms to a wood paper.  I love my mushroom stamps I bought on ebay a few years ago.  They are from all of the world and all have mushrooms on them!  Then I added a neat lil mushroom slick sticker.

More wood paper with spare diecut gears.  I spritzed a couple with some different inks.  I think they turned out neat.

Playing with spritzed backgrounds.  All the butterflies are diecuts and stamps from playing around too!  The diecuts are from Spellbinders.  I added a DCWV chipboard sentiment and bling!

I had fun stepping out of the box and I still have a few more series of ATC's I did after this being watching!  Thanks for stopping by!

The Paper Loft: Basking in the Sunshine

As I promised more layouts using Hooked on Fishing and Huckleberry Pond from The Paper Loft.  I cut the circle of the sun from the inside of the Creative Memories jumbo circle pattern and the "rays" of the sun are scraps.  The paper is just perfect for my pictures from a hike!

Close up of the title.

cards from scraps

I had made several of the dragonflies trying out my different embossing powders.  I have the matching punch. Stamp from Purple Daisy.  The paper I used was from a  Creative Memories 8x8 autumn package from a few years ago and Vintage Perfect Fit, a Basic Grey Christmas Stack and the patterned flower paper is from the DCWV Heirloom stack (new).  The doilies are from my first experiment with my Cricut Expression 2.  I added some shimmer mist to dress the white paper up.  Almost everything I used was from my scrap pile except the bling!
