Hero Arts Unicorn and glitter rainbows with Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge

Hello, once it again it's time for my take on the current Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge.  I chose a literal interpretation of the Unicorn and Rainbows theme.  Now I just have to find a little person which to send it.

Here's the sketch.

Washi tape would have been ideal for this project but I didn't have any glitter washi.  I used red lined tape to keep the thick American Craft in place on the card.

I stamped the image on vellum and colored the back side with alcohol markers.  Except the horn which was a glitter pen.

Ingredients:
Hero Arts Stamp set
Ancient Page Archival Black ink
Stampin Up markers- Mauve Mist, Positively Pink and Going Grey
Glitter Pen (horn)
American Craft glitter ribbon
vellum, white card stock, pink shimmer card stock

Cricut Peace Love Llamas~ Bitten by the Bug 2's Cute Critter Challenge

Good morning and welcome to the latest Bitten by the Bug 2 challenge~Cute Critters open until August 3.  I think this adorable llama qualifies as cute, how about you?

This POW glitter paper is so pretty and cuts like butter in the Cricut machine. Even on the very thin letters and ear outlines.  I like to finish off most of my cuts with chalk to hide the white edges as I did here.

Ingredients:
DCWV Tie Dye Stack
POW glitter paper
Quick Quotes Powderpuff chalking ink Midnight Confessions
misc card stock

Quick Quotes Lost at Sea layout

Hey there, how are you today?  I had a very relaxing 4th of July.  I got a lot pf crafting completed over the holiday weekend.  I began to scrap this trip to Boston from 2018.  I found a great sketch and started cutting!  I loved the uniqueness of this sketch from The Scraproom Blog.

Here's the sketch:

This was a sailing excursion on Salem Sound on a recreated frigate.  It was a good time and I learned a lot.

Stampin Up A Little Hello with Atlantic Heart Sketch Challenge

It's time again for Team B inspiration at  Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge.  I was intrigued by the bird in the sketch.  I don't use nearly enough bird images so I found this Stampin Up image with a bird in a cage.  In fact, I pulled a lot from my Stampin Up stash.  I used inks, stamps, punches and an embossing folder from Stampin Up.

Here is the sketch

A close up of the pierced cloud embossing and stamped images.  The papers I used, however, are not Stampin Up but a couple of 6x6 Graphic 45 pads.

Ingredients:
Graphic 45 Cafe Parisian and Birthday 6x6 stacks
Stampin Up Badges and Banners stamps (2017), badge and banner duo punch, cloud embossing folder and Pool Party and Marigold Morning inks
Our Daily Bread Designs Pierced Circle die
Quick Quotes Powderpuff chalking ink
washi tape

Sesame Street and In the Stars-Bitten By the Bug 2 Challenge

Happy Monday and welcome to the latest Bitten By the Bug 2's In the Stars challenge.  The challenge is to use at least three different size stars on your project AND use your Cricut machine.  I used Sesame Street images to make these great kid's cards.  I paired the primary colored images with some old Creative Memories Primary paper.

Elmo is a super fun character to cut.  He looks great with the fun papers.

I cut a Big Bird on a star too.  I layered both of these cuts on black card stock to make them really pop off the primary papers.

This yellow paper cut so beautifully, I can't remember what brand it is though...

Ingredients:
Cricut Sesame Street Celebrations image set
Creative Memories Primary Power Palette photo mats
Our Daily Bread Designs pierced circles
Quick Quotes Powderpuff Chalking ink Midnight Confessions
misc card stock
