Stampin Up Happy card for Atlantic Hearts Challenge

Happy day!  I have a happy card today using the latest Atlantic Hearts Challenge sketch.  I used my go to Stampin Up products for a beautiful coordinating card.  I am not a demo and rarely even purchase Stampin Up first hand, therefore, I am sure most of this is old stock.  I also substituted since I don't own all the latest colors.  The card base is from my stash and most likely not SU.

Here is the sketch for this week:

I like to give my butterflies some life by only adhering adhesive to the center and manipulating the wings go stand up a little.  I placed the butterflies I stamped and punched along a die cut vine.

The angles are very unique and I was left with several angled scraps.  I used them and more butterflies to create several other cards. Look for the rest of the cards to be posted in a couple of days.

Ingredients:
Spellbinders Foliage Two
Karen Burniston Word Set 3-Holiday
Stampin Up Butterfly Kisses 6x6 papers
Stampin Up Papillon Potpouri stamps and coordinating butterfly punches
Stampin Up inks: Crushed Curry. Groovy Guava, Lemon Lime Twist
Stampin Up Opaque Adhesive backed gems

Welcome to another Atlantic Hearts challenge design team inspiration post. I love how neat this masculine card turned out using Echo Park Warm & Cozy 6x6 papers.

Here is this week's sketch.

Of all the foliage dies I own, I was hard pressed to find a pine need die but I found this one as part of the Karen Burniston Holiday Charms die set. I cut them from some Bazzill gemstone paper scraps in green.

Stampin Up Dashing Deer sentiment
Stampin Up Basic Gray ink
My Favorite Things Double Stitched Circle die
Karen Burniston Holiday Charms dies (foliage)

Karen Burniston Tiny Gnome Birthday Card

Welcome to my blog, today's card was a birthday card for a friend's dad.  I had a lot of fun creating several different gnomes.  I still have a couple more in my stash.  The others are made with different papers.  I loved the fun dots on this little guy.  I paired him with a simple background accentuating the funky color palette.

I used the die as a stencil to ink the details of the gnome hair.

I can't wait to do something a little more involved with these little guys.  This card did serve it's purpose and I hope brought a smile.

Ingredients:
Karen Burniston Tiny Gnome die set and word die
Tim Holtz Distress ink Hickory Smoke
misc scrap paper from my stash
black ink

Hello and welcome to my blog today.  It is the birthday of the most special woman in the world to me...my mother.  I am so very fortunate to have her and since trolls are her thing...

I took out my Karen Burniston Tiny Gnome dies for the first time...oh my the rabbit hole I entered.  I have pieces and parts of gnomes in all the colors!  You will see more of these little guys soon.

A close up of the gnomes.  I usually review Karen's assembly videos as I am creating with a new set for the first time.  Here I used her suggestion of inking the hair dies.  I used Tim Holtz Distress markers for the job.

Our Fairytale...Karen Burniston Castle Pop Up and Kindred Stamps

Hello and welcome to my blog today.  I have created a very special card for my husband to celebrate our anniversary.  I used several different manufacturer's products to create a one of a kind work.  The front of the card shown here is actually the last panel I created.  I took a cue from Karen Burniston and used leftover pieces and parts to lead into the big reveal...

The castle pop up!  The center piece of this project using the Karen Burniston Castle Pop Up die set.  I used We R brand papers Once Upon a Time throughout the project.  I did find a nice red for the brick and roof tiles in my Quick Quotes stash.

I am really in love with the castle pop up.  It was so easy.  The hardest part is choosing the papers.

I used alcohol markers to color my ogre's.

And the final result.

I didn't get a great shot of the clouds but some are fussy cut from the paper and some are die cut from the cloud paper with the cloud dies from the KB die set.

I used the same paper collection for the front.  I used a stencil and shimmer mist to create the stars.  I colored the fairy with alcohol markers with a hint of shimmer and glossy accents for eyeglasses.

Ingredients:
Karen Burniston Castle Pop-Up dies
Kindred Stamps Fairytale Swamp and Swamp Sidekicks stamps
Tim Holtz Hocus Pocus Layering Stencil
Spellbinders Foliage Two dies
We R Once Upon a Time papers
Quick Quotes Main Street paper (red)
twine
alcohol pens and Creative Memories gold metallic pen
shimmer spray and wink of stella pens

My thoughts...sympathy card for Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge

Welcome to my inspiration for this week's Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge.  I used several different manufacture's for this card.  I began with the sympathy sentiment from Marah Johnson.  I found the perfect Quick Quotes papers then stamped several Stampin Up flowers in coordinating colors.

Here is the sketch. Obviously, I rotated it.

I selected several of my stamped flowers to line up along the top and bottom of the sentiment panel.  Finally, I added pearls to the centers.

Ingredients:
Quick Quotes papers
Limited Edition Marah Johnson My thoughts L55505 stamp (2005)
Stampin Up Not Quite Navy and Marigold Morning ink
Stampin Up Petite Petals stamps
pearls

Karen Burniston Ms. Claus and Penguin Season's Greetings card

Hello, this is my final card for the Inspiration Team today.  I jumped ahead a season to create this Karen Burniston winter card.  I have always had so much fun playing with her animals and characters.  The first time I use one of her dies, I will go to Karen Burniston YouTube channel and watch her assembly video.  This is my first time using the Winter Animals set so I watched that video.

I very much enjoy her tips such as using the die as a stencil.  I used it here to detail the hat on the penguin with a white gel pen.  I used the same plaid paper for Ms. Claus's suit and the penguin's hat and scarf.

I layered some trees cut from a green patterned paper on white glitter stitched hillside border.  I used the same white glitter paper for Ms. Claus's trim and the penguin's pom on his hat. I colored Ms. Claus's cheeks and cut her glasses from silver metallic paper.  I layered all the pieces on patterned paper.  I layered the the snowy hill cut on the patterned paper then die cut the stitched rectangle for a uniform look.
