Sketch N Scrap vacation dinner layout #2

I have scrapped another great meal from my Connecticut vacation.  I ordered too much food at this meal.  Now not all these dishes are mine but two are, a tofu taco and a salad.  I am down to three pages left to finish my album!  Today's primary task (after work) is to pick up the last few fresh ingredients for Thanksgiving.  Fingers crossed, I still think I can finish this album before Thursday.

Rock On DCWV Stardust Stack and a sketch

Here's another layout to finish my 2020 trip to Connecticut.  I chose papers to make a companion page for a page I created in March. You can find it HERE.  The hardest part was finding a title with the remaining letters. I have no idea the brand I removed them from original packaging long ago. I even enlisted my husband's assistance.  I told him I needed to solve a puzzle!  The only vowels were and I, two O's, two U's and two Y's.  Since it was a trip for a concert, I thought this was fine.  My husband chose "Yummy" as were we at dinner but I like "Rock On".  I cut some circles gathered some embellies but, of course, it all started with a sketch.

Here is the sketch from Sketch N Scrap's Monthly challenges on Facebook.

Ingredients:
DCWV Stardust Stack
Creative Memories Custom Cutting system circles
Spellbinders Scallop circle die
Chipboard letters
Flowers and bling

K & Co with Sketch N Scrap

This is the companion layout to the previous post.  I love this paper, however, I could not find a name of the paper pad, just K & Co and Tim Coffey.  It is a lovely nautical collection.

You can find the sketch HERE.

I put some of the stickers on white card stock and pop dots to add dimension.

K & Co Tim Coffey papers
Creative Memories stickers

K & Co and The Scraproom's Freaky Fast Friday formula

Using my stash and chugging along at my goal of finishing this vacation album by Thanksgiving. I am using a challenge which I feel helps me get 'er done.  I pulled out some of probably the oldest items in my stash, my child was just a toddler.  I got these die cut letters on clearance at Kroger so many moons ago. I purchased the paper second hand and I am super pleased.

Here's where you can find the FFF

Ingredients:
K & Co Tim Coffey paper pad
Creative Memories custom cutting system circles
Die cut letters

The Scraproom's Jumpstart Sketch and Connecticut's Gillette Castle

I had very good intentions with this layout although it went off course and I don't feel it's my best work, however, it's still a page completed!  I feel good about that.  I used a sketch and some older papers from my stash.

Here's the sketch.

Hugs layout with a sketch, a kit and a plentiful stash

Hello, as I promised so many layouts I have finished up this weekend. I am particularly happy with this one. I really loved these photos. If you can read the journal card you will know I was completely flabbergasted, it was covid times and my husband is taking a picture...who is coming up behind me and "hugging" me?  It was a hilarious moment so fun to be captured.

This sketch is from Rochelle Spears November challenge.  I felt free to girly this one up with flowers and butterflies! Plus use some very pretty papers acquired from the The Scraproom.
I had a ton of fun with these clusters.  Luckily my stash is organized.  I was able to pull out a bag of white flowers.  They were not in original packaging but by the quality I am guessing Prima. I then grabbed three of my tidbit organizers, the blue, the black and the white.  I rummaged through finding all the right brads and embellies for the centers of the flowers.  I fussy cut some of the butterflies from the AC/AT Monarch paper.  I cut up a gemstone border flourish to fit my needs peeking out behind my clusters.

I recently found some old Stampin Up Paper Pumpkin kits at a thrift store.  They were Thanks a Latte card kits.  They did not contain the stamp set but I am finding uses for the pieces and parts of the kits nonetheless.  When I saw I needed a journal card for Stacy's challenge I immediately thought of this piece.  I die cut the title from a Scrapbook.com Bear Hugs die set in complimentary colors to the background and butterfly papers.

A close up of bottom left cluster.

Ingredients:
AC Amy Tangerine Bold & Brave Monarch and Canvas papers from May 2021 The Scraproom kit
Stampin Up Paper Pumpkin left over bits: journal card
assorted gems, brads, flowers, ribbon and card stock

Sketch N Scrap Sketch vacation dinner layout

If you are a regular follower you may have read I have a goal of completing my vacation album from 2020 by Thanksgiving.  I created several pages the last couple of weekends.

Here is the sketch I used.

Definitely using up my stash in the quest for my Thanksgiving goal! These K & Co flowers have been hanging out a while, I will admit I had a few packages and there were 40 flowers in each!  I bought them on markdown, they have served there purpose.  I have enough for one or two more projects.

I think the round tab I used was from an old Adorn It sticker sheet, however, I am scrapping with a furry and frankly haven't been keeping up with the products.  I do wish I knew what this patterned paper was, just found it in my stash, I am positive I purchased it second hand recently.

Ingredients:
card stock and paper from my stash
Creative Memories sticker letters
K&Company Tim Coffey Cottage Garden Flowers Layered Accents
sticker tab
Creative Memories Navy ink pen
Creative Memories cutting system circles
gems

Scrapbook.com Winter Shaker card for Atlantic Hearts Challenge

Welcome, today I went a bit wild and created a winter shaker card for today's card.  This Atlantic Hearts Challenge Sketch 604 is a throwback sketch celebrating the AHC milestone of 600 sketches!  The shaker part really was easy, I should make more.  I did take the extra effort and align a scrap of the striped paper behind the shaker.  I thought it was a nice touch.

Here is the sketch.

This week we are also partnering with Double Trouble Challenge using faux stitching.

I keep my "inventory" in Evernote.  I searched for double stitched circles and the closest I found was a MFT circle that was part of a Blueprints die set. That's what I get for creating and not making note of the products I am using. Forgive me for not having the brand.

Ingredients:
Stitched Circle die (My Favorite Things?)
sequins
