Wedding Blog Hop

Thank you for joining us on My Cricut Craft Room's Blog Hop
Today I made an acrylic scrapbook page to share with you today.

This layout is of my wedding bouquet that I also made.  It is made of vintage and new pins and jewelry.  You can find more about this project on another post from October 2013.

My bouquet included silver, gold, pearls and "diamonds" (clear bling) with just a hint of colors.  So I have done the same with my layout.  I had some real metal brads that looked like old jewelry that just went perfect!  I also wanted flowers since it is a bouquet.

I used a metallic silver doilie that I bought after Christmas on clearance in the very back.  I thought it was a great layer for this layout.

I used the Creative Memories border maker system to create a metallic scallop border.  I also used Kiwi Lane Designs bracket template with white shimmer card stock and a couple of differnt vellum papers, a Fiskars circle border punch on gold shimmer card stock, and Recollections pearl border bling.  There is a layer of hand made paper and metallic looking stickers.

Pearl and crystal pins from Jenni Bowlin, various ribbon, washi tape, flowers and bling.

I have had these gold leaves for years, I mean since the beginning of scrapbooking years! and I found a perfect place for some of them!  (still have 6 more or so left)

Finally, a metal and bling label holder where I used the same white shimmer paper and wrote bouquet in gold.

Thanks for stopping by and the next blog in the hop is Erica !  The entire lineup is below.

Today I have for you a two page layout that I created with Kiwi Lane designer templates and Momenta papers.  I used brackets (different sizes) and tiny accents.  I also used my Cricut Art Deco cart for the titles.  You can also find some 7 Gypsies paper tape, Tim Holtz gears, and various brads all over the project.

I just love this old fan brad I purchased from the eyelet outlet at Mega Meet.

My brother is also a father. You can see his (not so little) girl here where I also used Kiwi Lane templates.

These pictures were from Christmas 2011 (is anyone caught up with their scrapbooks?) and include their significant others...

I just love all the details so forgive my many pictures.

I would like to offer my own little blog candy:

The Paper Loft Truly Scrumptious & Kiwi Lane Bracket layout

Today I am sharing a layout I did with Kiwi Lane Designer templates.  I used the brackets in 3 sizes and some flowers from an accessory set.  Here is how I started:

Next I cut the papers:

Ink 'em up and stick 'em down!  It couldn't be easier.

The paper is the new PINK line at The Paper Loft~Truly Scrumptious

Close up.  I did use the Tim Holtz Sizzix banner diecut for the banner with TPL words.  Actually these were a few pieces of diecuts left over from my Mother's Day cards.  Since The Paper Loft paper is so cool and two sided, the pink is one side and the green is the other~perfect!

Close up of the flowers with some pretty brads in the center.

"Home" Steampunk layout

This is the companion layout to my "Model A" Steampunk layout last week.  I was visiting relatives in Georgia and this is their home.  I used the same HOTP Steampunk paper with The Paper Loft Afternoon Tea paper is the lighter layer.  I carried over some of the keys and key hole theme but added more "homey" embellishments.  The lamp posts and bench are old CM stickers, I mounted on cardstock to stand out.  I still have some of the HOTP steampunk dazzles on here, too.  I used a Sizzix flourish & label diecut and gold DCVW cardstock.  The tag has some 7 Gypsies paper tape on it, too.  For the oldie but goodie challenge I am using the "filigree" fence and letters.  It must be at least 6 months old, haha does 6 years old count?  Actually this sticker must be at least 12 or 13 years old!  Way to go Mrs. Grossman's, still sticky stickers!! The "home" letters are old CM filigree, although not as old they must be 10 years old at least! I also just thought they were perfect for this layout of my Aunt & Uncle's home.

Close up of the tag.

Close up of the label and keyhole and their beautiful fountain.

Sketch n Scrap Card sketch

I just loved how this little card turned out!

The sentiment stamp is Stampin Up and I used the emboss resist technique again.  I used SU Summer Sun, Wild Wasabi and Groovy Guava.  The embossing powder is Judikins pastel which is more of a pearl.  I used a Scrapmart Spellbinders exclusive die for the gloss on glossy card stock.  I think the paper is Jillibean which I cut with a Kiwi Lane Designs template.  Other ingredients:
Creative Memories shimmer card stock
Bazzill textured card stock
W R washi tape
Queen & Co Bling
Green fiber

I layered the washi on white card stock to make is clean and bright.

Here's the sketch

Here's all three cards together:
