I hope your day is all Rainbows and Unicorns! What a fun card, I was in a whimsical mood when I found this paper stack on top of my 6x6 stack. I recently purchased it at a thrift store. I say good score! It only had one piece of paper missing and cost 75 cents! I searched Evernote and found all my unicorn images. I landed on this Jillibean Soup coordinating set and stamped and embossed it in Sparkling Sky blue. I layered it on some pastel blue glossy paper. Finally, I layered it on some glittered papers resulting in sparkle and shine and sparkle again!
Here is the sketch I used from Sketch N Scrap.
Here's a side view. I popped up the unicorn and only one of the clouds to create depth. The stamps had coordinating dies which is why I purchased this set second hand from my favorite creative reuse store Indigo Hippo. They are in the middle of their summer fundraiser if you'd like to help. They use these funds to give all sorts of artists the ability to access affordable art supplies. They do a lot of work with children including providing free school supplies.

Alicia: Your ribbon choice with some sheen looks great behind the unicorn focal panel! That's a great way to use fiber! And the background colors add to the magical, dreamy thoughts of a unicorn! Thanks for sharing at MTTC! -- Becca
ReplyDeleteAlicia: do you know about TFATU or HQFCB? Heart's Quest Fantasy challenge blog is the renamed The Fairy and The Unicorn however, we are still using the TFATU blogger address. If you'd like to take time and add in the link, it would be terrific to see your unicorn shared there (anything goes fantasy theme).
DeleteAwesome to see this in the HQFCB entries!!! Thanks! Come back again for our anything fantasy goes theme.
