Thanks Brenda. This is one of my favorite places in Cincinnati. I am a transplant from Georgia. I have hundreds of more photos of this beautiful and historical place from different years and seasons. I have a cemetery board on Pinterest that has some wonderful statuary pics. Follow me on Pinterest Alicia O'Bryant. Thanks!
awesome photos. I never would have thought this was a cemetary. You may like my post http://preciouspagesbypaula.blogspot.com/2013/08/photos-from-lums-pond.html
Just became a follower after the Snowflake blog hop...and so I am guessing you live in Cincinnati? I am in Dayton but lived in Cincy for a couple of years. Nice to "meet " you and see these pretty photos!
Sue, this is no "small town cemetery". this place is HUGE! It is large and very historic with presidents and other dignitaries buried here. You can spend days in this place. I prefer to bike to catch things but still make progress. It seems in a car you miss too much and walking is very slow. There are several marked walking paths for walkers, joggers and bikers with mileage marked. It is one of the best places in Cincinnati. If you are near, you should check it out!
wow! these pics are amazing! who would have thought they are at a cemetery? the church is so gothic looking....but yet so serene! love it!

DeleteWhat a beautiful cementary. I love old, small town cementaries myself and have several pictures of a few somewhere.
