Hey there bloggy friends. It's time for another Bitten by the Bug 2 challenge. This time our theme is Valentine's or Hearts. I created a couple of simple cut cards.
My first card really pops because of the intricate cut layered on top of a super pretty glitter paper.
I added a bit of black ink to distress the edges.
And my experimental card...It looked a little plain so I added liquid pearl accents. My husband really liked it. I wish the pearl lines was smoother. They did add and elegance and detail that was not previously there.
Ingredients:
Cricut Simple Holiday cards
various card stock

Both heart creations are wonderful. Liking how the glitter sparkles behind the intricate swirly cut and the liquid pearls add dimension.

I am not usually one for lots of sparkle, but that paper behind the card really makes it pop and is perfect. You are braver than I am with the liquid pearls. I have bottles that I never use because they intimidate me.
ReplyDeleteYou just gotta love glitter! Both cards are so pretty! The liquid pearls is really awesome on this card. It makes it pop.
ReplyDeleteI like the glitter paper and the liquid pearl on the cards! I have a terrible time using liquid pearl unless it's for tiny accents, as I don't have a steady hand at all.
