Mystic Pizza Layout for Sketches in Thyme

Welcome to my blog today. I hope you are enjoying the holiday weekend.  I am scrapping for Sketches in Thyme today.  I have a some photos from my visit to Mystic, Connecticut.  We visited a pizza joint made famous in the movie of the same name Mystic Pizza starring Julia Roberts and one of my favorite actors Vincent D'Onofrio.

Here is the sketch I used from Sketches in Thyme.

All of the printed papers I used were from Kindred Stamps, don't you just love the darling pepperonis?

This image I colored with my alcohol markers is also from Kindred Stamps.

I stamped, colored and die cut all these little pizza slices from the same Kindred Stamps set.  The larger slice is part of the pizza sign.  I just trimmed off the sign to create a couple of different size pizza slices.  I die cut the entire sign and snipped off the words.

The paper pack is a 6x6 so I pieced the strips of red gingham "table cloth" to cross the scrapbook page.  I cut the title with my Cricut.

Ingredients:
Alcohol inks:
Prismacolor Crimson Red
Spectrum Noir TriBlends:  Muted Brown Blends, Red Brown Blends, Ice Grey Blend, Ice Grey Shades, Brown Grey Blend, Tan Blend, Tan Shades, Light Green Blend
Spellbinders Circle Nesting Dies
Cricut Title cut
misc card stock and papers

Magical Crystal Ball card for Atlantic Hearts Sketch challenge

Welcome to this week's magical inspiration for Atlantic Hearts Challenge.  I recently obtained this Sizzix die set and could not wait to play with it.  The first card is always kind of a protype.  I definitely learned some tips to construct my next crystal ball.  I could not find any details on what all the pieces cut.  I will do better next time.

Here is this week's sketch.  It should be an easy one with which to play along.

I had fun selecting the fanciest complimentary papers I could find in my stash.

I had to select a few views since the iridescent papers catch the light different in every photo.

Ingredients:
Craft Smart Stay Magical 12x12 paper
Momenta Alcohol ink paper 12x2
Sizzix Crystal Ball die set
Kindred Stamps Magical word die set
acetate
misc papers and iridescent card stock

Scrapbook.com Boots cards with Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge

Hello and welcome to this week's inspiration for Atlantic Hearts Challenge.  I cut lots of little bits and pieces to create some unique boots using the Scrapbook.com Disco dies.  I had these small scraps of floral paper that began this pair.  I added complimentary pieces and layered on a goldenrod background.

Here is the sketch.  I used the same goldenrod paper and more papers from Scrapbook.com Vacation paper pad to create the strips.  I die cut more pieces for the scallop.

I adhered all the die cut pieces and strips to a neutral card base.

I made a masculine version as well using a few different products.  Lawn Fawn paper for the strips and I die cut barbed wire from metallic paper.

Ingredients:
Stampin Up Baked Brown Sugar
lace border dies (feminine version)
Cheery Lynn Designs Barbed Wire (masculine version)
misc card stock
