Good morning, I am here today with nautical themed slimline card. I really enjoy playing with distress inks but I also like clean lines. This card combines both my passions. I was able to get inky while keeping it clean. I used the Catherine Pooler Slimline Essentials dies. The set really does contain all the basics you need for wonderful slimline.
This photo is the first layer of ink application. I applied ink and splatter plain water here. After the next layer of ink, I applied shimmer spray. Finally, I die cut pieces from the optimal areas of the paper.
I love how the cuts turned out. I added gems as eyes.
I clustered a few of the sand dollar cuts.
I inked the edges of all the cuts.

What a peaceful, instantly eye-catching slimline design. Both my DH and my paternal grandfather enjoy fishing, so I'm always on the lookout for aquatic related products and design inspiration for cards that work well for both of them. Thank you for sharing this one and the products you used to create it.
