Welcome to the latest challenge for Bitten by the Bug 2 - For the Guys. I made a couple of neat Father's Day cards. The first one was super easy. Picking the card stock was the hardest part. The cut is from Father's Day Card.
This image is cut from Father's Day-Best Dad Ever. I love the muscle car image with the flames. I found this retro patterned paper in my stash. I feel it really brought the card together. I was having trouble with Cricut Design Space and could not save my project the first time around. I had to start over and forgot to resize this car. So it is slightly oversized for this 5"x7" card.
I would like to enter this into the following challenges:

Wonderful variety. My hubby is a tool person. Your paper definitely compliments the car.

Both of your cards have such nice masculine colors and themes. The inking looks fabulous.
ReplyDeleteBoth of these are fabulous! I love the cards in Design Space. They make it easy to come up with something great! Dorlene
ReplyDeleteI never think to make cut out cards - I only ever think of stamping Thanks for the idea!
ReplyDeleteYour paper choices are great! I am sorry to hear that you had trouble with Design Space (I have been lately as well), but I like the size of the car!

Love both of them with the color choices. The car doesn't look oversized, it just looks like it is coming off the card toward you which is perfect for a muscle car.
ReplyDeleteTerrific designs! I completely agree. That mid-century vintage inspired paper partners superbly with the muscle car image.
