Kite Stencil with Distress inks for Awesome Ombre at Camp Create

Another installment of Camp Create.  Today's lesson is ombre.  I have just recently started using distress inks to create backgrounds, so I haven't been blending very long.  This challenge gave me an opportunity to use a new Kite stencil from last weekends' Stampaway Convention.

Here's what I came up with:




As much as I used tape on all sides, my stencil still moved slightly with all the swirling and blending I was doing with four different Distress colors.


I made two neither were perfect but I have to remember it is just camp.  At least I tired something new!






Ingredients:
Judikins' Kite brand Seikaiha stencil
Distress inks: Mustard Seed, Fossilized Amber, Carved Pumpkin, and Spiced Marmalade
Spellbinders Phrases Two Set
Our Daily Bread Designs pierced oval die
white card stock
Recollections ribbon
