It's a Tea Party! Alice in Wonderland with Frantic Stamper dies

Hello,  it's Alicia inviting you to a tea party today.  I recently purchased the Frantic Stamper's Your Cup Of Tea die set.  I immediately tracked down an Alice in Wonderland image to pair with the dies.  I love Alice and have a small collection of stamps but I ended up with this printable image.  I printed on white glossy and it was a bit stark so after cutting with Frantic Stamper Stitched Rounded Rectangle dies I distressed with some complimentary green ink.

This adorable die set comes with three different cups and several accents.  I cut one accent out of vellum and added it to imitate steam coming from the cup.  I also cut the tea bag in vellum and tucked it inside a cup.  I removed the heart tag off the tea bag.

I cut the flower accent a couple of times, once in green vellum and once in red.  I cut away the red leaves and adhered the red flower to the center of the green vellum cut.  The senitment is an Alice stamp from my stash, I used a punch to frame it.  I inked all the edges with chalk ink for highlighting dimension and softening the cut edges.

  3. Hi Alicia, what a great looking "tea party". Love those characters from the book and the way you've left them in black and white. Love the stitching around the curved rectangle, too. What a great idea to alternate the smooth cardstocks with the textured ones. Great use of your die-cuts. They compliment the scene and card perfectly. Thanks so much for joining our Watercooler Wednesday Challenge this week.
